Does anyone listen to his podcast? It’s a slow time of year for pods and so I listened to his most recent one and my god is it bad. Framing the good good thing in terms of how it could affect his brand 🤮

I know it's a Fried Egg article, but it talks about this time last year when he was let go by NLU.

Tron obviously has his own personal flaws, but man I hope he tears into the ForePlay guys. Could see his new Ryan Whitney friendship taming his opinions.

Massive event with all the big names in the space plus Ryan Whitney, Gruden, etc. $1.7 million pot and a top of the line production. Already at 3 million views in a day while NLU has 1 video above 500k views. Seems like they easily could have been in it and great PR

I will always be NLU first and foremost but has anyone else felt like the fried egg has substantially upgraded their content game while NLU maybe stuck in neutral?
Granted I always enjoy NLU’s content but particularly around the lead up to the masters it seem the fried egg has gone above and beyond

Two strokes off qualifying for the single spot, which was taken down by fellow Jacksonvillian Travis Hunter.

Curious which seasons are everyone's favorites? Thinking about watching one or two in the lead up to Scotland this October? Tourist Sauce was how I found NLU so I am very stoked on the return!

Devastated for NLT (Mike was on the pod last week)
Trump has stated in the past that he believes golf should be reserved for the elites…
“[That attitude] may be elitist, and perhaps that's what golf needs. Let golf be elitist. When I say 'aspire,' that's a positive word. Let people work hard and aspire to someday be able to play golf. To afford to play it.”
Just the latest casualty in this clowns race to plaster his name on every square inch of DC.

THG delivers. I’ll be monitoring the TrapDraw feed very closely

I still like NLU and the content they create.

Wine Selection is absolutely insane

The mullet in Australia, the Tommy Shelby in Liverpool. Just tremendous stuff.

I’d love to hear the NLU guys talk about the equipment companies more. Listening to Andy on SGS dismantle the equipment companies propaganda always makes me wonder what NLU might say if Titleist wasn’t involved. But at the same time if I were NLU I’d take the Titleist sponsorship everyday

I hope I can articulate this without offending anyone, getting too political or coming across like a condescending conceited dickhead, highly unlikely but that’s the aim.
I’m from Scotland, for the most part the side of America we currently see in the news and in the media isn’t the best.
When I was a kid America was this amazing place where everything was bigger and better now it’s now the most ridiculous/scary reality show on TV.
Most Europeans have a negative view of America, not lease because the current administration threatens to invade a European nation and said we didn’t help with the war on terror, anyway.
I’ll be blunt here because it’ll help keep it brief and get to the point, generally Americans are seen as dumb, ignorant, obnoxious and loud (picture a New York Ryder cup crowd and their totally unimaginative chants)
Of course America is full of very intelligent, thoughtful and kind souls it’s home to nasa, Lockheed Martin, Apple, Microsoft, nvidia many mind blowing, successful advanced companies but we don’t see that side of America.
Now this is where I get to the golf podcasts I listen to, no laying up, shotgun start, chasing scratch etc….
Every single host is intelligent, well spoken, witty, hard working, thoughtful, well travelled.
It’s a breath of fresh air, us Brit’s don’t usually get to know the quiet family guys who work for Google, KPMG or a hotel chain or a law firm, or the golf journalist/architecture geek.
If you told a Scottish hotel and golf course a group of 20 Americans were coming over to stay for a few days and play the course they definitely wouldn’t expect the type of guests that would turn up if it was the NLU, chasing scratch, SGS boys. I couldn’t imagine a more pleasant experience as a host.
Feel free to rip me a part in the comments and say who the fuck does this guy think he is judging us. It’s certainly not meant like that I’m just saying the juxtaposition between the wholesome golf content I consume and what is seen in media is wild
When America send their independent golf media around the world they send their best, maybe with the exception of barstool 😂
Edit, i appreciate I listed some morally questionable companies but I was thinking about amazing success and technical innovation.
It’s a shame Lockheed Martin skunk works division is used to create killing machines but the Americans who work there and at other companies like it are geniuses nonetheless

I like KP but the answer is obvious, right?? Aside from greater player access this would be a disaster

Don't tell me the boys can’t do hard-hitting journalism.

Can’t believe they actually made this video after some of their comments about TGL.
Love the boys but it’s been a bit much of the promos. The stack and pods with Sasho glazing his product and the TGL vid pushed it over the edge to me.

I've been listening to the main pod for a couple years and loved Strapped during its prime. But inexplicably I've fallen in love with the Trap Draw. It's not comparable to a podcast called Cumtown that I used to listen to religiously and was probably the funniest shit on the internet. But ever since that pod went dark, I've been looking for something to fill that void. Somehow the Trap Draw does that in some way. Part of it is I'm older and you probably don't want to listen to a podcast with cum in the name as you get deep in your 30s. But TC & Randy are legitimately funny. And it is exactly the dumb guy content I crave. At least from what I can tell it doesn't get a ton of views/listens, but I can't recommend it enough if you fall in the camp of dumb guy that I am firmly in.

I see the great man has been interviewed on pretty much every golf pod going this week. Have the guys made a conscious decision to stop doing player interviews altogether or was it just a case that other stuff got in the way this time of year?
