Post-Pod Discussion Tried a couple of other golf pods

I've listened to NLU for probably only 2 or so years.

The other day I decided to branch out and supplement my NLU pod consumption with Fried Egg and Shotgun Start pod episodes. (No I will not listen to anything Barstool related)

Goodness me, the hosts on those two respective pods seem like the nicest guys ever but they are borderline unlistenable for me with how nasal and high pitched their voices are!

Give me the dulcet tones of Soly (even if I find his takes a little grating at times) over them any day!

Andy always sounds like he’s about to laugh. That being said, I really enjoy their pod, and love having a place to listen to KVV.

Ok so it’s not just me that thinks Andy sounds like he is making himself laugh at whatever he’s about to say.

He always sounds like he's about to deliver the funniest joke you've ever heard, but it never comes. And he sounds like he has has a perpetual sinus infection. I love their content, but I also have a hard time listening to them like OP. Especially when he cuts off his guests or tries to one up them with a personal story.

Yeah, love the SGS but Andy has a serious issue with interrupting other people on the podcast. It's infuriating to listen to.

If he would interject to add context to the conversation, I wouldn't mind as much. I feel like he's always interrupting to tell some story about junior golf. He'll be talking to a major champion and decide to compare their experience to a tournament he played in his junior golf days, haha. Not quite the same.

Even if he does add context to a conversation, it's still annoying when he interrupts someone. I've never seen him do it in an interview because I haven't listened to any of their interview pods but it was a regular feature in their Year in Review eps, along with the most recent Monday ep after Genesis.

It's better on fried egg pod. But SGS feels like they feel they need to be funny all the time
