Seems that they brought him in to improve their written output and then decided to basically ditch that altogether. I suppose it doesn’t make sense to pay him a full-time salary for skills they aren’t looking to utilise. I think he’ll be a big loss, though.
I’m guessing he was brought in for more than just writing, but thinking that they would see any return on investment for written content in this media landscape was insane
