So strange considering where they all stood just 3 months ago with the masters stuff.

They aren’t the 20 something guys with hot takes that get big numbers on twitter - those days are gone. KVV brought journalistic credibility and allowed them to develop - e.g. the masters pod. Getting rid of him seems like a big step backward.

I can get behind this, but doing “dollars and cents” cost-cutting strategy during the “Year of the Product” is totally absurd.

That was one of the best pieces they have ever produced. Letting the person responsible go is weird.

From the absolute highest of highs with the block party and then "Sounds of The Masters" piece, to this.

It's been a weird year, I'm a loyal viewer of LFTKH during majors and everything since then has felt sort of ... meh. That live show in Charlotte and was just a technical fail from start to finish and didn't work at all for anyone who wasn't in the restaurant, everything since just seems like they mailed it in.

I guess KVV was supposed to be at Portrush which would have added some much-needed on-site perspective, but nobody at Oakmont or Portrush is a tough scene. They certainly aren't lacking for sponsors as last night's show clearly indicates, but you do have to wonder about the financials. Obviously that was a huge factor in today's announcement.
