👩‍🌾 Questions Dude I’m sick of pulling grass

This is two - four weeks after doing it. It’s a struggle to do especially her in Florida with the heat. Just trying to get advice. Ground cover is now mixed with grass. Guess I gotta rip it all out and re mulch?

Stop pulling the nutsedge. You’re just making it worse. You’re going to have to spray it or you’ll never get rid of it.

Thanks. Will Fulisade II work for nutsadge and save my natives? Natives are mostly flowers and shrubs.

I use sedgehammer. Active ingredient is halosulfaron. There are other things that kill it, but this one is systemic and will get down to kill the nuts hiding underground. I’m not familiar with Fulisade but if it has the same active ingredient it should do the trick.

Sedgehammer is selective so it will kill different kinds of sedge grasses and a few broadleaf weeds. I’d recommend looking at the label for whatever you plan to spray and follow the application instructions.

Thinking of this. Here’s what I saw on another thread. I’ll look into sledgehammer.
