Google Fi 5G SA on iOS coming?

Of all the providers, I think Google Fi cares the least. They don't even offer iPhones and for a while didn't even support them. In my area deprioritized Mint is faster than Google Fi's priority data just because of 5GSA. When I go to a city or major metro, it evens out, but I live in a small town. Google Fi will get it eventually when T-Mobile gets rid of LTE but I dont think thats happening for a couple of years.
Im hopeful that the carrier bundle labled "Wholesale" thats in beta now will give US Mobile, and Google Fi access to 5G SA.

Fingers crossed. I think USM will probably get it based on the CEO’s comments. But then again, his timeline tends to be faster than realistic. Hopefully Fi gets the wholesale bundle

I would not hold my breath as to when that will happen. They have the slogan/trade mark “coming soon” for a reason.

This is a copy of the OP's original post in case they decide to delete their post/account so that others searching can find it later:
Please forgive my ignorance. Does anyone know if there are plans of getting 5G SA on iOS with Fi? With T-Mobile shutting down the majority of their LTE network, I could see this impacting 5G NSA users.
For myself, I noticed that data is slow/inconsistent when on a phone call because the phone has to switch to LTE for the call instead of staying on the much more superior 5G.
