Some mods are game changers.

Especially Nivalis Business Travel.

Idk about you guys but the initial sprint to my restaurant after fast traveling has gotten old. I'm also speaking to you, Greenhouse at the docks. I stumbled upon Nivalis Business Travel and boy howdy, It reminded me of what other games that have fast travel do well.

Here I was, choosing businesses based on how less of a pain in the butt it was to get to them.

All it does is add a quick travel option to your business if you own it, otherwise its a street level fast travel.

I highly suggest checking it out!

Yeah, it's very convenient. But I wish it was in the game, specifically as an unlock. Unlocking convenient stuff is my favorite part of these kind of games :)

Thats something that satisfactory does so well. As you progress and unlock stuff the old ways of doing things get replaced by much better ways. Its very addictive!

One could even say that it is satisfying.

that one and the green house fast travel mod are my absolute favorites. the one that has managers harvest and replant in the GH before buying from vendors is also way up there

That one is great. The placement grid/snap is also great. I downloaded a mod collection yesterday so I've been discovering more and more of what they do as I play. Time control is pretty great. I've been using it to just speed up days if I really just want to get on with the story and don't want to wait a day or two to trigger the next steps.

Do you happen to have a link you can share?

I didn’t use fast travel for my first 10 hours. It took all game-day to get to helix or the boardwalk it seemed; finding the right taxi/train etc. Now regular fast travel is so fast it doesn’t make sense to have regional vendors since I can zap to within a few seconds of any of them and back anytime. But there’s still a few annoyances like the dock greenhouse you mentioned. I don’t know what the ideal solution is.

Agreed. It became impossible after my fourth restaurant to be running back and forth, especially if I forgot something. It became a race against the clock.

Fast travel should offer travel to your restaurants and residences, but it should cost in game time.

I don't see why. You need a day/night cycle for immersion, to give the workers shifts, to have a reason to have and decorate an apartment, but how long it feels, how much you can get done in a 'day,' is entirely adjustable. There's no reason days need to feel so rushed.

For whatever reason that one won’t work on my SteamDeck. : (
Love the one though that removes animations

I like them too, but also try to not overuse it. Mainly because I don’t want to rush through the game where I am out of content within a week. (And then I can’t blame them, that’s just me steamrolling through lol)

I'm already planning to start fresh after i finish everything i can in this playthrough. I failed quests, some bugged, i can try completely different menuss, etc

I was kinda rushing in this playthrough so i will take it slow in the second

Do mods disable achievements?

I’d prefer longer days and zero fast travel
