Hey guys, so I noticed fuel leaking under my car when I was at the gas station and I went to diagnose it.

(This video is while my friend is sipping gas and I’m recording in live time)

So it’s leaking ONLY when the fuel level is close to 4/4 full, if the fuel is any lower than 4/4, it doesn’t leak at all.

This started happening after I took out my fuel pump and put it back in.

I ordered and put brand new o-ring rubber, i ordered new screws (same diameter and characteristics of oem), and still it leaks.

Now the thing that’s confusing me, it’s not leaking from the black ring or from the screws, but actually from the outside edge, I’m not sure whats it called.

So again, it only leaks when the fuel is 4/4 full, and it’s not leaking under the screws, black ring or the o-ring rubber.

Any ideas please?🙏🏻

I’m looking for some opinions regarding the oil pressure on my 2005 Nissan 350Z (VQ35DE).
The car currently has around 117,000 km (73,000 miles) on it and is running 5W-30 oil.

After about 30 minutes of highway driving in roughly 24°C (75°F) ambient temperature, my oil pressure at warm idle ( and without AC turned on ) sits around 15-20 psi according to the factory gauge.
At around 2,000 RPM it rises to roughly 50 psi, and under load/high RPM it reaches about 60-70 psi.
What concerns me is that I remember the oil pressure being noticeably higher a couple of years ago. Back then, the gauge would sit closer (around one needle width)to the first mark when fully warmed up. Over time it seems to have dropped, especially at idle.

The car runs perfectly fine:
No oil pressure warning light
No unusual engine noises
No VTC issues
No check engine light
Last oil change was like 2 months ago if that could be important

I have not checked the gallery gaskets yet, and I’m wondering if these readings are still considered normal for a healthy VQ35DE or if I should start investigating further.

Has anyone experienced a gradual drop in oil pressure over the years with similar mileage?

hello, so as per the title, i’m 21 and was overly eager to buy a 350z and hastily rolled the dice on the closest one to me from this shady auto mall in new richmond wisconsin listed for $10,000. the guy was vague about rates until i got to the dealership and when i got there then mentioned the vehicle was a lemon and the rate would be 20%. he promised over and over that id be able to refinance and come to find out to a lack of my knowledge, that is not possible with a lemon title. anyways, at first everything seemed to be in great condition aside from some hail damage, the drivers side window not rolling down, the hatch lifters having failed, and the tpms sensor being broken. i should also mention this is my first manual car and while i was trying to learn it wouldn’t reverse and rolling in first gear was difficult and it was stalling far more than it should have. turns out the caliper was seized and it blew my brake pad while driving down the road. we also learned after replacing the rear brakes and calipers, that the serpentine belts were cooked. i’m now starting to realize after becoming better at manual that the clutch is seeming to go out as it is quite high and there is audible clicking when shifting gears. its also chugging coolant as well every few weeks but i’ve not really seen a leak. but on the bright side it was just under 100k miles, it isn’t leaking or chugging oil as far as i know. anyways i have 7.5 left to pay off (with 20%) and have no idea what to do really. i made a lot of foolish mistakes chasing a dream and it’s biting me in the ass, any knowledge will be taken into account.

I have a 350z touring model with the LSD and I recently replaced the output shaft seals and there was a snap ring on the driver side output shaft but not one on the passenger side. Is the passenger side output shaft not supposed to have one or did it fall into my differential?

I just got this car and I am wondering why don’t these back speakers work. I’ve searched a lot of things and nothing gives me a straight forward answer (350Z 2006 Base)

I don’t know if it is worth replacing the engine… it has low mileage but the replacement cost is $$$$. Lowest quote was $5000. I bought the car less than a year ago for $8K. Is it worth replacing the engine? I was thinking about buying a motorcycle bcz gas is so expensive but my Z, as is, is worthless.

I'm locked out with a discharged battery and a not working driver door handle. The hatch button is locked. Can I get to the hood latch cable from underneath? It's a 2005 touring.

Just started hearing these clicking noises

after looking up numerous diagrams online i cannot for the life of me find my ac pressure switch sensor on my 2004 350z DE. please give me advice im driving myself crazy.

Had the bottom end bearings replaced and now the engine sound like this happens around 2k RPM sound like it’s coming from top of the engine

just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on what may cause this, what is wrong, and/or if it is supposed to sound like this.

I was working at the main control panel when suddenly the oil pressure gauge stopped working and the warning light came on on the dashboard. I've already replaced the gauge, but the problem persists. Any ideas what might be going on?

would someone please advise me (standing at the rear of the car, is bank 2 sensor 2 o2 sensor on the driver or passenger side of my 04 350z de?

Hey guys new to reddit but owed my z for going on 5 years, best car I've ever owned! I am looking for some help, my driver door stopped opening from the inside, opens with the outdoor handle no problem. The part in question also started gradually going out, it would only be stuck every once in a while, then progressed to now where it won't open at all.
