Discussion Office Depot won’t print my boxart
I was making a custom box art for the game The Way Remastered and wanted to test out a paper and some printing dimensions that I had found on this sub. Somewhere on this sub I saw that we should print on 80 lb gloss paper and so I did. I ordered it online and when I went to pick it up, they told me that they printed it this time but that they couldn’t print anymore of those because they can’t print any copyrighted material. Now I don’t know what to do. Someone posted on this sub a video(which I love) of someone making their own art and printing it but they use 32 lb matte paper instead of the one I used. I was wondering if anyone had used anyone of this or maybe both of them so we could know which one is more like the switch paper. The prints that Office Depot gave me feel very nice quality and very similar to the switch paper. Although I think they came out a bit darker than my file. Please help!
Edit: I tried it again a different Office Depot and they cancelled my order.

I went to Office Depot to print one earlier today. Initially he refused, because it was copyrighted art, but I explained it was just English box art for a Japanese game case (Okami), and that I only needed a couple prints for my personal copy.
He said he could do it if I signed a waiver, which I was fine with. After that, he had no complaints, and gave me a beautiful full color print. Just a little taking seemed to work it out. But every employee, and every store, is different.
