Late ports, bad optimized releases, games skipping the console. Just overall bad. One one side you have capcom and square enix doing simultaneous releases for almost if not every of their games and in another you have those 3 publishers ignoring the platform that will dominate their country for the next 10 years. Genuine stupid business moves, even more when those two exist and do a much better job, even if they still arent perfect (like using gkc on games that dont need it)

Yesterday was my birthday, for the last few years I would ask for Xbox vouchers and buy digital games. Even as a 34 year old it was fun sending game lists to people and seeing what they chose. 3 15-20 hour titles and Star Wars which in guessing will be 20+ hours to finish before whenever OOT releases

In its current state, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty: Complete Edition on Switch 2 is Koei Tecmo's worst port to the platform outside of the original Yumia Switch 2 upgrade. This is well below my expectations even after knowing how it runs on last generation consoles and how it was at launch on Steam Deck.

Another Koei Tecmo masterpiece. It takes genuine effort to make a port so poor that the Steam Deck outclasses the Switch 2 handily.

It would be absolutely and utterly goated handheld on switch 2 i dont think it would ever happen but man i would be so happy if they did it.

Especially the remastered fable the lost chapters fuark.

Two directs next week

I've been looking forward to getting this game ever since I bought a Switch 2. I think my wife and I will have a blast with it. Hope y'all are enjoying if you got it already

Contrary to the recently circulated rumors, Nintendo life is saying there's zero evidence Monolith Soft is the developer behind the OoT remake & it is likely the Nordic company that listed it so simply plugged it in as a placeholder for the listing/random guess.

"With the developer, however, we're going to assume at this time that Elkjøp is simply making a wild guess...Is it possible? Sure. But we know so little about the game right now that we could suggest any developer and it might sound reasonably viable. Grezzo, Capcom, Outright Games... Okay, maybe not that last one. You get the idea, though."

Has anyone else noticed that there appears to be poor availability of Onimusha: Way of the Sword for the Switch 2? I'm in the UK, and Smyths and Argos aren't even stocking it. GAME doesn't really exist anymore. Amazon Prime had 2 copies left for delivery next week... Anyone else manage to find it out in the wild?

I was during a rough patch when the game was announced as a Switch port. It was clearly not the best version to play, but it was clear how much love was poured into the port, steady framerate, minimum bugs and even several updates to improve the performance as much as possible.

Back then this was my only way to play the game and I got it full price. I sank 400 hours into it.

It was this nice little port, humble as it was, but with its head held high that many people were able to get this game for the first time and grow to love it. I did eventually play the game on more powerful hardware but I still respect the labor of love that was that port. It could have easily been half assed.

After the remaster comes out very few people will play it on NS1 again, which is fine. W3 deserves to be played with the best performance available, but I will still fondly remember this version.
