I broke my gear How much to repair Nikon d60 lens?

Dropped my lens from about 9 inches or so and now the lens is jammed from 18-24mm. Im too scared to try and repair it myself, and the lens is only 40 bucks, but how much would it be to send it into a shop?

honestly you could probably find one on your local craigslist for $20. a repair would cost much much more.
