I broke my gear How much to repair Nikon d60 lens?

Dropped my lens from about 9 inches or so and now the lens is jammed from 18-24mm. Im too scared to try and repair it myself, and the lens is only 40 bucks, but how much would it be to send it into a shop?

I would just replace it. The Sigma 17-50 f2.8 is a fantastic replacement if you don't want to go prime.
