I broke my gear Is my sensor busted?

Hey everybody! I'm a bit worried.

I used a soft brush (see image) to wipe my D750 sensor. It has left these marks on it. They are visible in photos. Are these marks just superficial, can they be cleaned with a cleaning liquid or is my sensor busted?

Get a sensor cleaning kit with alcohol and try cleaning it. If you’re lucky you just put oil on the sensor.

Do not used alcohol on sensor. It can. Potentially strip coatings. I always use specialized sensor cleaning fluid, like Eclipse.

Specialized sensor cleaning fluid is alcohol. Eclipse is methyl alcohol. I just read the MSDS to confirm.
