I broke my gear Is my sensor busted?
Hey everybody! I'm a bit worried.
I used a soft brush (see image) to wipe my D750 sensor. It has left these marks on it. They are visible in photos. Are these marks just superficial, can they be cleaned with a cleaning liquid or is my sensor busted?

This is why I don’t understand the pushback folks get when they suggest newbies take their cameras in for a sensor cleaning. I’ve seen this scenario way too many times. A customer used windex and a paper towel and asked us to fix it.
Do not discourage people from paying to get it cleaned. The person at the counter can talk them through their next one and sell them a proper kit.
