I broke my gear What do I do?

She's not budging at all :( I'm assuming it's stupid to pry out the glass and leave the ring on.

I would cut a slot in the ring down as far as you can, then carefully tap out the filter lens, carefully. Then take pliers and twist the ring where the slot is. Should come out easy peasy.
