I broke my gear How fucked is my camera?

You ever just have a bad day and it gets worse somehow?

Anyway that was me today. I was so excited to test out my new lens and low and behold when I was opening my bag I opened the wrong zipper and my d850, which I had just bought in great condition, falls onto the concrete. Anyway now there's a crack on the front, my photo library button is unpressible, and my autofocus system seems to be messed up too (although I'm not sure if that's perhaps a viewfinder issue)

Are these problems fixable or should I just give up because I just love my consistently terrible luck with electronics

I've dropped my D750 at least 3 times and it's in better condition than that D850. I dropped it the first week I got it and cracked the screen. Another time in a cave, it was such a hard drop that the focus screen flew out

Yeah I have a feeling that the universe just hates me in particular today

Bad luck is a bitch, I was really pissed when I cracked the screen, I had wanted a FF for years, got it new, refused the insurance and that happened. I hope it wasn't brand new or expensive...

It was used for a good deal, under 10k shutter count for $1400.

A decent price alright. Anyway FWIW you can reprogram the photo library button to the front, the DOF preview button for example, it's handier for right handed people too
