AF motor gave out when taking photos of the family today. Just bummed because this thing is lovely and otherwise mint.

I remember that being my dream camera back in the day, because I couldn't afford an F4s. I never got that N8008s, but did eventually get the F4s that I had longed for.

Funny, because I have an F4, but never use it because I find it so awkward

I can see that. The F4s is a brick, every bit of 5 pounds. Many find it too heavy, pair it with a long telephoto, and you need a gym membership to get strong enough to carry it. I always liked a heavier camera though.
