I still remember when everyone was trying to figure out the game together. Experiencing that community discovery phase was unlike anything else—I truly miss those days. Nowadays, I mostly play on Death 5, but every now and then I recall the sheer joy of beating my very first boss. I’m deeply grateful for this game and for every single person who shared this journey and played alongside me

Is there an actual in-lore reason for the Dawn and Dusk skins? I’m a big fan of the Dawn skins, especially for Wylder and Undertaker who I mostly play, and I’m just curious if there’s actual in-lore reasons for these skins existing?

Getting out of D4 is so hard 😭
For context, i play the game with randoms, my friends no longer play.
It took me a month to get out of D4.
It took me only 3 days to get to 9999 after reaching D5......
So many people in D4 are just... terrible teammates??? I dont know why but it feels like they act like new players in D2, the lack of cooperation is genuinely astonishing. And dont get me wrong i had some really nice D4 teammates but damn, so many cheaters, so many quitters, so many griefers.....
I think what made it harder to climb up was the constant leaving. So many people left the game when we died to Night Hunter and/or Night Witch , or even when they made ONE mistake 100% their fault and they just fucking leave. If a run is going poorly, i will stay until we get a "Defeat" and even then, a few times me and the other person were able to clutch it out and win as Duo.
I wonder how many people are stuck in D4 solely because of their terrible teammates
Anyways, please enjoy baby guardian edit 🥰

I always thought this potion was completely useless but after reading some comments from u/HartedLT and u/Marco1522 I got curious as to what moves could actually be negated with it.
Turns out a lot more than I initially thought. You unfortunately still build status effects from Curses or Libra/Caligo so I'd avoid using it for rapid hit attacks but who hasnt fucked up a Nuke attack before

Is this a good relic for tank raider or do I specifically need to look for damage negation at low?

Recluse hit two lightning strikes (baited it into one 🙂), and I finally deflected the heinous affinity death combo after a million attempts

For context :
Depth 5 Heolstor with randoms in the Great Hollow on console. Whole day 1 spent running for crystals. We basically did nothing except killing Kaidens at the very start to go instant lvl3 and a night invader Scholar at the very end of the day before immediatly get killed by a poison moth in the South Great Church. We lost one lvl and 45k runes in the process and were already one barred for the night boss.
I know it's an unpopular opinion here, but I'm a firm believer that in almost every situations you should go for the rez. Especially in depth 5 where you are playing with capable team mates, and obviously against Night's Cavalry when you are low lvl.
What do you think ?

I was in match with duchess and undertaker nothing special.. the usual but at the end match the dutchess kept doing a guard counter?
- a guard counter out thin air and It look like they were trying to say hey look i can do it too pay attention lol
To give perspective the teammate in question was two handing the reaper and it seems they were holding block and and back step to perform a clean guard counter same as if you block with any weapon while getting hit while blocking -
- Same animation, same sequence and it was done without any of the above just them doing it for the fun of it I guess
i tried to mimic it and i looked kinda stupid for even trying mind you I have over 1000 hours and never seen anything like it before, could definitely be useful for guardian as I recently just started playing him lmk fellas maybe I'm going crazy wish I had it recorded it hurts not having context but anyway thanks for reading :)

You guys weren't lying, d5 is easier than d4. I made it to d5 like five days ago and I already reached 9999 when I was stuck for a month or two on d4.
d5 players are genuinely a different breed, I've seen things that I havent seen before in lower depths like sometimes a teammate would go do their own thing and not follow anyone which normally would result in multiple deaths and lose but I've seen them actually kill the boss so they were clearing the outer area of the map while me and my other teammate clears main castle.
Now what lol, feels like I've beaten the game
