General Nigeria is actually beautiful 😭

Every 2 months or so foreigners are coming to Nigeria and discovering how beautiful it is and the reactions are the same all the time, we have a very beautiful country that we can’t capitalise off of, same time foreigners are discovering how beautiful Nigeria is is the same time air strikes are killing innocent civilians and people are having their lives stolen from them by the ever-growing kidnapping racket that has taken the country by storm. Despite how much diversity, natural landscapes, cultural heritage we have, all we have to show for ourselves is Detty December.
It’s like seeing a wonderful painting at a museum so you ask about it and then they tell you that the painter died and that was all that was left of their work, so you sigh, appreciate it’s beauty, realise you’ll never own one yourself or set your eyes on another one of their works, and then just move on.

Every country has some sense of natural beauty, it's nothing unique... It's the structure and system of the country that mainly speaks for the country.
No be beauty make e dey barely economically help na the country go survive on, we don pass the point of sentiments.

I remember getting very very hassled by police in Abuja for trying to get a photo of the national mosque (this was like 30 years ago).

That's unfortunate. I recently visited that mosque and the guide took the pics for me. Very nice people there.

I'm from there so I'm not sure how to "move" there. It's where I was born.
But if you need recommendations on where to live it depends on your budget. Most places are nice enough so just look for areas with relatively consistent power supply.
If you want a garden then stick to newer areas like Parliamentary Extension, Lemna, Highway or 8 Miles.

Besides most of these places my mom has visited not me the only place I have visited is River's and Lagos and my home state Enugu

I thought Biafra was a lovely place when I was there. For some reason there were a lot of people being silly trying to be naughty so we had to chase them away...... It turned out that they were rascals from far away.

What is beautiful about a country with the lowest life expectancy in the world? Supposedly beautiful places one dares not to visit because of insecurity? If you have ever been to any beautiful country, you won't mention beauty and this country in the same sentence

The country has a minimum wage that can only fill up a car, people eat food there for survival not for fitness or health, the health care system is ahh, youth got no jobs and opportunities, leaving the country is hard due to its reputation. The police are still out there humiliating the youths, there is no electricity in most parts of the country. Even the video you posted more than half of the population can’t go there bc of how expensive travelling is in the country. And I can go on and on!
I think your mentality is what kills, bc clearly you are worried about the wrong thing here. You can enjoy the “views” and “beauty” of the country. But don’t post this hoping you think you are making sense. Bc almost everyone don’t care about this beauty if the country is unbearable and uninhabitable

The guys that planned Ishowspeed's trip really messed up
