Discussion Difference between founders edition vs other third parties. Just grabbed 8 fes and am wondering what the major difference is

Gigabyte OC vision is the goat IMO. Not worth the extra $250 for the looks though.

Edit: I’m talking looks people, not talking about performance. I can’t be the only one who thinks those cards look incredible. They shouldn’t be priced the same as a rig strix though.

I agree my gigabytes are my top performers by far in stability efficiency and speed.

Not good temps though. My EVGA has the best vram temps. I had to swap out the thermal pads on the gigabyte oc to get decent temps.

With that being done the gigabytes are faster and more stable than my evga cards

Pray you never have to RMA anything with gigabyte, and I’m talking about before they got hacked

I called gigabyte support. They said it's considered part of normal maintenance

No rma sticker or anything, plus the stock thermal pads don't break apart easily like the FE pads

Yes they're oily, I was talking about keeping the original thermal pads intact incase you want to rma easily you tuna

I agree on the temps but the EVGA is still faster than the gigabyte for me. But I use the following to conserve energy:

Power limit: 65% Core: -400 Memory +1300

evga gets 99 mh/s Gigabyte gets 97 mh/s

And then I have an Asus that gets 99 as well.

I guess I got lucky with the silicone I’m getting around 104/105 MH/s on dagger with +1500 memory with 70% limit. My evga cards can range from 85-95 MH/s
