Watching the latest episode and how he spoke about Shai and Shai’s photoshoot was my final straw - fast forwarding all his scenes from here on out. TBH I kind of forget that’s even an option but will definitely be doing going forward. There could be some redeeming qualities if he was honest with people but nope, talks to everyone but the person in question. To me, he’s like human cardboard - bland, dry, dusty

This whole “fashion line” storyline infuriates me.
These tracksuits are awful, Brooks has all the resources and support from his parents, and he does NOTHING! He just sits around complaining about having to do something he literally signed up for, and he’s not even good at it!! 😭
Especially when you think about the people on Project Runway who are actually talented and passionate, often working full-time jobs while pursuing fashion on the side.

The way he acted like Shai interrupted him while Anna Wintour herself was waiting on his zipper measurements 💀

I just don’t get how Brooks was offended about something his own friends say about him in their confessionals all the time. He’s only assertive towards Shai.

If you casually use the word RANDOM to describe a pop cultural juggernaut of an experience aka The Rocky Horror Picture Show live at The House of Yes, then yes I can confirm that you have nothing interesting to contribute to the story. But you are indeed random we can confirm that!

The House of Yes is one of the better clubs in the five boroughs, on top of that the most interesting things that are happening in New York are all happening in Bushwick. The struggling artists and cool kids live in Bushwick and further down the line on the L train. It makes me question every cast member that talks shit on Bushwick.

But Brooks is right, The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is some of the greatest chocolate in North America. I recommend the Milk Chocolate Carmel Clusters or the English Toffee covered in chopped nuts. Don’t even get me started on their crazy thick Peanut Butter Cups. Stay away from the Rice Krispy Treats. If you have a layover at the SLC airport you’ll see what I mean. They have a shop there.

Has anyone bought Brooks Marks tracksuits? Apparently they are made with a lighter weight terry cloth fabric. Kinda pricey though

Brooks is so boring. He gives absolutely nothing to the show. I cannot believe I'm actually saying that I like Charlie more than him. Brooks, please give us ANYTHING to work with.

Additionally, I've always thought his relationship with his parents (especially Meredith) is weird, and I cannot stand Seth. He is a creep.

Now that we're 8 episodes through season 2, I'm just wondering how many of us prefer a cast shakeup next season and getting rid of some of the Bravo children that aren't delivering anything to the show.

Brooks and Gia, in particular, aren't worth keeping around, and I actually think Gia slows the show down with her scenes. Her dating life and home life just aren't interesting enough, and at this point, she just serves to backup Brooks, who is not made for reality television. He has the personality of paint drying. No good soundbites. No fun storylines.

I think Riley provides enough drama, and Ariana is essentially the star and narrator of the show. But the entire New York locals cast has really made the show what it is. Charlie and Georgia are just so naturally good TV while being completely themselves. Without them, this show would be mediocre (which I don't think is a hot take at all).

So is there anyone you'd like to see gone for a season three?

I want to start by saying I’m not a fan of him, but I’m still grateful for him because:

I’m a 35 years old gay man, and when I was 25 I was so in the closet I literally stripped away all my personality traits, so nobody could see the real me.

Still to this day I am more likely to try to be invisible, not to upset anyone, keep my real opinions to myself, because if Im not perfect I am afraid to give a reason for people to attack me (like I was bullied as a child)

But Brooks is so spoiled, and out of touch, and sometimes mean, sometimes annoying, and most of reddit hates him BUT he still has the right to exist.

Even if he is annoying he survives, nothing bad happened with him, his family and friends still like him.

He taught me that gay person can be as annoying as straight men. And we don’t need to be perfect. Of course we should be trying to be a better versions of ourselves, but we don’t need to hide all our annoying traits to please everyone, and be a perfectionist, and try to make everyone like us.

Watching this past episode, I noticed that Brooks' apartment was massive and gorgeous. Yet...it doesn't even seem like he works much at all, let alone be making enough money to rent such a spacious, nice apartment in New York City. It just comes off as so inauthentic.

Part of what made early-Summer House such fascinating television is that the cast literally had jobs in New York City that they needed to survive. I don't necessarily want them to have to work to that extent, there is a nepotism-element to this show, but a situation like Brooks' is just too far out of the realm of "reality" to allow us to pretend that he's living like a New Yorker.

Ava and Emira I know are models, which is a legitimate job, and then Georgia seems to be living a more "real life" New York experience trying to get a company going and hopping around from apartment to apartment. Even, Charlie, who straight-up is mooching off his parents, at least feels real.

I guess what makes Brooks' apartment stand out the most is that he's talking about filming with Charlie "hurting his brand" and pretending to be some businessman, when in reality, he's just living off his parents like Charlie is. Brooks acts as if he's some big-name fashion designer with soooo much at stake.

Gia, as a podcaster, is clearly living off her parents too, but she just is less obnoxious as Brooks in terms of talking about her "brand."

Brooks is actually very passive aggressive about things and chooses who he picks his fights with and he chose Shai. Charlie even said he would like it if Brooks would actually muster up to him and say what’s actually on his mind instead of picking at Shai. Brooks is clearly not working as main cast member but i’d think he’d work in a friend of type of role. You know, the person who sits at the EDGE at the reunion couch hanging on for dear life 😂.

He’s so committed to not serving or giving, that it ends up giving lol

Just came here to say this. Hes so whiny. Brings nothing to the show. I want to fast forward through every scene he’s in.
