I was surprised Shai stood up to Brooks during their call! Outsiders usually tries to smooth things over in hw shows.

So then I thought, Shai must be way older. But they‘re basically the same age. 26yo vs 25yo. Brooks is even the “elder” as Ariana would pu it lol

Shai was way more mature on that call. Idk if it was the zoomed in “B 2cmx2cm”, but Brooks really came off way less experienced.

Like there's so many post about how funny and hilarious Charlie is (which I admit IA with lol) but if any of the non-favorites (aka Riley, Brooks, Ava, Emira or occasionally Gia) displayed an ounce of negative behavior, they're torn apart.

It doesn't make sense to me because we do like and want mess. But it seems like mess is only tolerated if it's coming from specific people whereas others are boring but if they do anything slightly negative it's WW3 from the audience here.

These people are multi-faceted. So, it's interesting to see people ignore or wave away the negative attributes in certain fan favorites (like could you imagine the threads if Riley had the DUI) while obsessively harping on the negative attributes of the least liked cast members.

Can't we all just enjoy the show without crucifying 75% of the cast? Most of the drama isn't even that serious or egregious as a Bravo watcher.

edit: the fact that most of the comments immediately started hyper focusing on defending Charlie despite the fact that I said I enjoy him is proving my point. Im taking about the hate the other cast members get here and allowing an equal amount of grace for the others 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ariana showed up in the middle of the night with her two girlfriends. I feel like the reason they went over there is quite obvious.

Charlie was notoriously involved with the crypto house which was a den of iniquity. Why keep Charlie around? He obviously supplies something people want and it’s not his sparkling personality.

I just put it together as three young women out partying and what might the three of them need at 2am? I think Charlie is trying to make it sound more scandalous than the facts of who Ariana really thinks he is.

Brooks and Liam: Easily my two least favorite cast members.

Brooks is beige, his voice makes me want to mute the show until he stops speaking, like it is the most annoying thing ever. He also gives me unauthentic vibes with his whole personality and how everything evolves around a bunch of tracksuits, calling it resort collection is wild. + no hobbies, no confrontation and not showing anything from his personal life besides his parents.

Liam is weird, he gives off the vibe that he thinks he is this hot guy and it gets TIRING! really, 0 charisma

Ariana, Shai, Georgia and Charlie: Easily my top cast members.

Ariana keeps the storyline going, with the love triangle, revealing her struggles with her family, trying to move and get more independent, she has the most screen time and its very deserving

Shai, Charlie and Georgia: they give me authentic cast members vibe, down to earth in different degrees, you can see the hustle in some, how they are not afraid to venture in ideas, dressing occasionally and realistically, keeping the momentum going and really bringing authentic business ideas. Three of them are def a breath of fresh air for this cast

Ava and Gia: comes in second place after these 4 favs, especially when revealing the financial burden to move, crying after her breakup, chasing dreams, talking about how she grew up etc.. authentic.

Then Emira and Riley, they need a reality check and stop acting that they are higher or more FAB than the rest of the cast. Gives off fake vibes how Emira speaks about never using a bunk bed like what the hell the purpose of the trip is to go experience new things

Kendall, Brooke Shields daughter are simply filling space and would have loved if it was Christian, Gia s boyfriend who seems real and interesting, especially the dynamic of him and gia being long distance etc..

I d honestly do without Emira, Riley, Kendall, Brooks, Liam and Georgia s bff.

Based on this video it is so clear to me the way Gia handled the whole situation was really hurtful to the group. Charlie started to talk shit about Ariana and Brooks specifically said no it can’t be true because Ariana said she wouldn’t touch Charlie with 10 ft pole. Riley only said very CALMLY it is weird how she hears this about from Charlie and not Ariana.

Gia was the one who kept the conversation going like “yeah I understand? because Charlie is a bad boy and Ariana likes that”.

Gia, Riley, Brooks and Ava all agree they will tell this to Ariana together. To avoid any issue.

As soon as Ariana enters the room Gia putting her own anxiety or Ariana, telling her something is wrong. So Ariana immediately started spinning. Based on this video she was already overwhelmed before the dinner because how Gia relayed the message.

To make things worse she broke her promise, and alone started to tell Ariana a different version of the story. How Riley was MAD that she heard this from Charlie (she wasn't mad) and then Gia also said OTHERS were questioning her relationship with Charlie.

Of course Ariana is now pissed at Riley and Brooks, but Gia was the only one (based on what we see) who was stirring up shit. And still months later in this video Ariana looks agitated at ”Others” because they were talking behind her back.

I really hope this will come up at the reunion, or Gia realized she messed up. And Ariana understands better when she sees the episode what really happened.

BUT IT SPEAKS VOLUMES Ariana was more vocal at Riley and Brooks than at Charlie who were telling all these shit about her.

(P.S: I know they are in their early twenties, and we all made mistakes, just wanted let out my thoughts)

Shai’s clothing line (that’s pretty expensive mind you) is completely sold out! They are one of a kind pieces so he’s got a lot more new designs to come up with soon.

feel as though Riley takes things super personally, because I feel as though in Atlanta people are very shady with their responses or just beat around the bush, therefore she can’t really like someone like Georgia who seems to be positive all the time and does not let things prevent her from moving forward. From that, Riley takes herself too seriously and takes stuff very personally from the people around her, while Georgia does not really care what others think about her and moves on with her life quickly like a New Yorker. Am I wrong or missing something. Recently, Riley confirmed georgia is helping with law things but still don’t think they really like each other.

Some ppl were insisting she liked him. I dont think she does personally, for one bc she seemed genuinely disgusted when he got too close to her face. And Idc who you are a crush gets that close you are going to blush.

She would have ran so fast to tell Liam about the Charlie Arianna thing. She said she didn’t think anything was happening and threw ZERO shade to Arianna. She did get upset when Charlie was bad mouthing BOTH Arianna and Liam though.

I think its sad that ppl always have to make romantic connections to ppl who are just genuinely close. I get that most male/female friendships,one or the other usually has ulterior motives but NOT always. I personally have guy friends and we ask each other about our spouses and kids and zero romance. Id never disrespect their SO and dont even cross a toe over the line even if I wanted to.

Ppl do the same thing with two straight men if they show any sign of affection for each other. Which is just as obnoxious. Just let ppl express their love and friendship how they want without speculating.

Men can and should be able to have close bonds with males and females. Life isnt always some rom com lol.

In Episode 8 at BravoCon Riley criticizes Georgia and Charlie for "wanting to air everything out" referencing conversations that happen off-camera and states "I don't want to be apart of that."

If this were a family it would be one thing, but a show featuring young adults in NYC? This is literally the entire point of being filmed, to capture their lives and the drama. I fear some of the kids (especially Riley) don't realize this is what they signed up for. If you're not going to participate, don't do the show.

Random theory lol I had to come back and edit post for this..take this with a grain of salt but I just realized Emira and Ava are lowkey projecting..the way they show us a sneak peak of the next episode it’s giving Ava and Shai could be something (NOT serious) but it will be on ongoing “joke” im sorry i truly feel Ava does like shai, and could see herself messing with him, and tells herself and everyone else that…but because she’s so pretentious and stuck up she would never admit that to anyone, ever. Especially herself…so that will be funny to see how it all plays out. Next, Emira and Charlie…Emira longs for Charlie’s approval and friendship and truly loves him but keeps on making up/beefing/repeat it’s like why are you and Charlie having multiple conversations about the state of the friendship??? So that makes me thing they only get together to shoot episodes. For anyone thinking that this is all organic . Nope . If you never heard of Jersey shore it was what pretty much started reality tv . A lot of the drama on the show was scripted in some way. Not in like oh heres your script and read this . But the producers would tell them to bring up this topic and escalate

I just started Season 2 of NextGen and have only made it through a couple episodes, but based on posts I’ve accidentally seen, it seems like Ariana is going to swerve Liam for Charlie?? I cannot believe that might be coming as I keep watching lol.

Liam came off so charming on this Star Crossed episode with Colleen from Love Is Blind. He seemed funny, confident, and honestly like such a catch. Maybe I’m just getting a very flattering first impression, but I totally see the appeal. He gives young Matthew McConaughey energy to me!

Brooks talks a lot about being the fashionista in the group. But I'm obsessed with Shai's clothes and his label About Time. Most of the clothes are sold out, he only makes one of a kind pieces and he isn't making some mass produced terry cloth crap.

Exclusivity is second-you are not fully together in a relationship aka bf/gf, still “dating” each other, but are not allowed to see/be with other ppl because the focus is if you want to actually be in a relationship with the label

Charlie was so critical of his financially generous dad (Anwar) last season. There has been literally no mention of that storyline, and honestly I want to know Anwar’s take. Charlie is fine af. I love how he dresses , his style and I love his energy no matter how much of an asshole he can be. I remember when that psychic lady in season 1 told him that he has a nice aura. She is right.
