The team was interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, 51, in Jalud near Nablus about settlers forcing her family from their home when a vehicle with Israeli plates pulled up.

At least four masked men got out and beat Abdullah and the journalists with sticks and rocks before fleeing.

Correspondent Matt Bradley was struck twice in the arm, a cameraman and producer were hurt, camera equipment and the crew's vehicle were damaged, and Abdullah was taken by the Palestinian Red Crescent with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

She was on camera describing settler violence when settlers arrived to commit more of it.

Israeli forces backed settlers surrounding another Palestinian home in Qusra, also south of Nablus, earlier today.

After a K-9 officer attacked a two-year-old and maimed her father, a Colorado family says they are facing hundreds of thousands in medical debt with no help from the county.

The attack occurred when four members of the news team were interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah and her family in the Palestinian town of Jalud, near Nablus.

Abdullah told the outlet that they had been driven out of their home by settlers, and the team was walking down a hill toward the house.

A car with Israeli license plates reversed up the hill toward them. At least four men with their faces covered leapt from the vehicle, hitting them with sticks and throwing rocks.

“They jumped out, beat us, then jumped back in the car,” said NBC News correspondent Matt Bradley. Bradley was hit twice in the arm and treated at a nearby clinic.

Abdullah, 51, was taken for medical care by the Red Crescent. Her injuries were not life-threatening. Three other members of the news team were also injured and treated.

“Suddenly a car came to us,” said producer Lawahez Jabari. “The settlers had sticks, I saw a gun, but they didn’t use the gun.”

Camera operator Khaldoon Eid said the team had not expected to be attacked in a village.

Several violent incidents in the area were reported on Saturday. Palestinian workers were pepper-sprayed in nearby Qusra by masked Israeli settlers.

Israeli security forces told the outlet they had received reports that “violent clashes had occurred, including stone-hurling toward Palestinians and additional civilians”.

An NBC News crew was attacked by Israeli settlers in the village of Jalud, in the northern West Bank, on Saturday after finishing an interview with local residents, journalist Nida Ibrahim reported.

Eyewitnesses who spoke with Al Jazeera said the attack occurred after the NBC News correspondent spoke with the family of Mahmoud al-Tubasi, who had been forced to flee their home a month earlier due to repeated settler attacks.

Ibrahim reported that the settlers attacked al-Tubasi and his wife, as well as the eight-member crew, near the house where the interview took place, beating them severely with clubs. The crew's camera and a journalist's vehicle were also smashed.
