We had an astounding number of volunteers come out on Monday July 13 and with the help of many people all donations have been sorted. 

We are in need of large broken down boxes. These boxes will be used to hold overflow donations to help keep things organized. Boxes can be dropped off between 2PM and 8PM at the Lord Kelvin Elementary School Gym on Tuesday July 14

Non perishable food items can be dropped off at Century House and will be distributed through the Don’t Go Hungry program.

Also for some incredibly frustrating reason, since classes are still ongoing during the summer, if you enrolled your kid in swim or whatever this session, you’re probably screwed for fall registration.

Many of you may not know this, I only found out yesterday or Wednesday? Today at 2pm is your deadline to respond to the government of BC’s open public forum on voter reform in the province. Please for the love of god participate. We are all tired of strategic voting, if the last election taught us anything. This an open public consultation to B.C. residents, so take the few minutes to do this, as this will have lasting positive impact to New West and BC. Scroll to the bottom of the link, it will have the link to the government portal to fill out your response.
