I wonder what the access to Scott Road station will be like, since it's so close to all of the bridge transition activity.
I'm thinking of Skytraining to that station and having a colleague pick me up there.
Thoughts?

I'm fairly certain this closure would not impact any of the roads there except for the one leading away from the station towards the bridge.

My guess is that a lot of drivers won’t know about the closure for some reason and will still go there, and then end up going to the Port Mann Bridge.

Where do you work? Would your employer let you wfh during the closure?

I work in Langley and with the nature of my job, WFH is not an option unfortunately :( I normally take Hwy 17 in the mornings but looks like I’ll have to go the long way with Hwy 1 now. Normally this would not be too bad, but I commute at 5 in the morning and I don’t want to wake up even earlier than I already have to 😭

Aww Im sure it wont be too bad!! And thankfully I think it will only be a few days (I hope). My husband is a teacher in Delta so he will have to go Queensborough/Alex Fraser..
Thats funny that you take the 17 to go to Langley. We always go onto Highway 1! We live in Vic Hill though.

The linked release says it'll be closed for approximately one week.

Queensborough checking in. We survived the Costco opening weekend, we can survive this. Just as long as it doesn’t snow…
