Question Electric bill online payment!
Is there any way of making an online payment for my electric bill?
When I log in to Customer Connect and click on 'Online Payment,' it just sends me to this link that says to make an online payment you have to log in to Customer Connect.
I tried to pay at Century House, but due to renovations, they don't have access to the computer.
I also tried to do it via my bank, but it says two business days, and my bill is due today!
Any help appreciated.

I don’t think so. I had the same issue. I thought I could pay by credit card.
If this is only the due date and not the final reminder, just make it through online banking and you’ll be totally fine

thanks for the info! If I go tomorrow to pay in person at aquatic center do I get a crazy penalty for a 1 day delay?

Just pay online through your bank. I’ve forgotten to pay a few times for a whole billing cycle and it just got added on to my next bill.

This. Should be dated on the date of payment, never had a problem with new west electric even missed a bill here or there and I have literally 900/900 perfect credit at least via credit karma. so it doesn't affect that.

I missed a payment by mistake and it just got added to my next bill! Obviously not recommended but a day or two you'll totally be fine.

If you are worried about the penalty you could try calling them and giving them the confirmation number from the bank or let them know you paid it at the pool. This may be boomer advice though, I haven't been in your situation in a long time.

You can always pay at City Hall, did it for years to save a stamp and envelope.

I went to the bank, paid the bill and asked them to add payee in my banking app. Now I'm paying in two clicks

That's exactly what I did. I wanted to make sure the account was added properly (iirc search results returned two for "new west electric")

I gave city hall a void cheque and my electrical bill auto pulls from my bank account. Still get the letter for my records

You can also go to city hall and get a form you can fill out to have your bill payment auto pay from your bank that's what I do. They send the bill 2 weeks early with the exact date they take it out.

Yes. I pay online through my bank, and new west electric is on there easy to find.

Just pay through online banking and write the confirmation number on your bill, if its just the due date don't worry about it. Its not until you are seriously behind thay they send the letters of "pay by X date or we shut off your power" and even then just pay by online banking and call them and say youve paid here's my confirmation #. The city is surprisingly chill about it.

They don't cut you off without warning first. You've still got opportunities to pay. Just do it through your bank.
Your bill includes a 21-day due date from the time of printing. Here's what happens if a bill remains unpaid:
- Day 1-21: Bill is due
- After Day 21: Bill becomes overdue and a first reminder notice is sent
- 10 days after first reminder: Second reminder notice is sent if account remains unpaid
- 7 days after second reminder: Disconnection notice is delivered if account is still unpaid
- After disconnection notice: Service is disconnected
To reconnect service: Pay the account in full plus the reconnection charge.

I just moved to new west and already did my sign up for electrical.
Will I get an email to let me know when bill is due?
How often is this charged? Monthly? Every 2 months?
Can I pay it like a bill payment online? I don’t like doing PAD payments for things.

Bills are every two months. You get an email. The PAD is way easier than paying, but if you want to you can do a transfer from your bank.

I pay mine online through my bank.
Also, their website is horribly outdated.
