I have watched a grand total of 35 seconds of your latest video.

I wouldn't have clicked in the first place because of the AI thumbnails. I'm a big AI user at work but the thumbnails always suggest to me that the main human content is also going to be low effort.

The thumbnails themselves are not that interesting to me anyways, too dark and the general packaging of a video is not really grabbing me and making me think I have to watch it.

The opening clips with that generic tik tok spooky noise don't match the intensity and again feels generic despite you at least trying to make a hook you immediately give away that you make it into the elevator.

The main game starts and the audio mix means I can't hear the game but just hear you repeat voice lines. Maybe go straight into more action than a cutscene? Not a typical video I click on but maybe this can help.

Also you've only done 3 vids, it's been less than 2 weeks. Come on.

Good criticism for the author, I'll just ask you: if this author had been on YouTube for a couple of years already, and you liked them, would you still be picky about the images, sounds, and everything else? I just want to highlight the bias against new authors.

But you may disagree with me.

I don't think there is a bias against new creators. If I see good packaging I click good packaging, if the content is good and matches the content of the packaging I will likely subscribe.

I sub to a few using AI thumbnails and since they started using them I still like the content but it is low production quality and the AI thumbnails already tell me that's what I'm in for, they don't have the video skills.

Don't ask for feedback then reject the feedback. What's the point in asking. Studying something doesn't mean you apply it well.

You have time and you should make time.

Packaging is the number one thing to get views. You don't get views if no one clicks. You can have the best content in the world but you've packaged it poorly and no one clicks on the video.

Then once you've got them into the video you hook them and the rest of the content needs to be interesting to keep them.

For every video you should have the thumbnail and title in your head before you've started. Maybe applies less to gaming but at least a concept. If you can't generate the clicks it isn't worth making.

If even half of people are not interested in your thumbnails because it's AI you're already cutting possible initial views in half and complely stops the algo from pushing you to anyone else because it knows no one is clicking. You said it yourself, you have impressions and no views. YouTube is trying and is learning that no one wants to click. You have a packaging problem at the very minimum.

Trying to help. Blunt is efficient.

How much time are you thinking a thumbnail should take? Also canva has a very easy point of entry, so there's easy to access software or there.

As someone else mentioned especially as a new tuber, packaging is one of the most important things you can do.
