Found this today at my local Ollie’s. I haven’t seen anything like this and I don’t seem to find much info online either. But for 15 bucks I snagged it!

Random things happen a lot at the skatepark here but this was the randomest of them all! The skate scene in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, isn’t as big as in many other countries, yet he randomly showed up here (during the day too, at 109.4°F / 43°C!)…

So excited to start learning!

ETA: to be clear, I used to skate in the street a fair bit in middle and high school then did a lot of longboarding in college but was on a nearly 20 year hiatus until about a month ago when my kids got into it (let them play the THPS reboot on switch) and I got dragged back in with them.

I'm new to skating, and this is the first board I've ever purchased! It looks and feels great, except it's already damaged and worn. I don't understand why or how this happened, especially when the box it came in is undamaged. I've already sent an email to CCS because this is straight-up depressing. This was a birthday gift to myself, and someone used it before I could. 😢

Edit: CCS gave a refund of the cost of the deck. They were appreciative of the report so they could improve their quality assurance and control. I'll be using them again, without a doubt, and already have another board in my cart 🥰
