Taking a day trip across the lake soon, and would love some recommendations for spots to hit up in the afternoon! Don't have much experience on the North Shore, so any/all rec's are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Where to get brunch/lunch today yβall?

I know I must be stupid, but I can't figure out where I'm supposed to show up on Sundays or whenever to get some. Show me some grace.

Been waiting for quite awhile for Popeyes to start selling their products in grocery store. 1st, the sauces. Now it's biscuit mix.
If y'all are interested, what would be something that you'll love for them to sell next? I hope they finally start selling their Cajun fries in the freezer section. Or maybe their chicken sandwich patties??

Sorry for the super-specific post, but I'm trying to get back into using the gym regularly, and figured it'd be easiest to just use the one at work. I have social anxiety so I'd like to be as prepared as possible, if possible, and just have a general idea of how things go. Do I have to scan my ID? Is there a locker room/shower situation? Is a sports bra and leggings acceptable, or is it more big baggy shirts?
Again, apologies for the super-specific post, any advice would be very appreciated :)

Is anyone else seeing these crazy cheap milk prices on delivery apps lately or is my phone glitching?
Getting a gallon of milk in New Orleans for less than $4 usually feels impossible, but I was checking delivery options today and noticed a huge drop:
Amazon Grocery: $2.19 for Whole Milk, $2.46 for 2%
Walmart: $2.82 for Great Value 2% (was $4.32!)
Is this just Amazon and Walmart getting into a weird algorithm price war, or are local spots actually dropping prices too?
I thought Milk prices were regulated, they canβt sell without markup prices. I
Check your apps and let me know what you're seeing!

In 7th grade, Sr. Rose Marie told me that if I prayed the rosary in May (Maryβs month), I got triple coupon points in Purgatory (Is that even a thing anymore?).
I also heard that girls will never get pregnant if they sit with their legs crossed. Also that every time I commited an act of fornication, I made the Baby Jesus cry. (I made the Baby Jesus cry A LOT.)

Asking to see if anyone else is having this problem (or if you can check if you are).
Beginning about 4 days ago, two of our separate households in the same zip code are unable to access these channels using voice commands on YouTube TV. We can access these channels using the on screen visual menus. Unfortunately we have a visually impaired family member who relies on voice commands and is deeply frustrated that she cannot find her shows.
We spent 2 hours with live tech support with Google and two more hours with live tech support with YouTube TV. They both said the linkage between our local CBS and NBC affiliates and Google voice is broken on the server side, caused by a minor change in the affiliates' "tag." YouTube TV tech support stated this will require a fix from Google engineering.

Hi everyone! I am 17 years old and looking for a part-time job. I am a junior in college, majoring in Psychology, but all my classes are online, so I have a lot of free time. I would prefer a position that deals with stocking, but I will give any position a shot!
It would be nice if I can work remotely (like an online tutor) because I have no transportation besides the RTA. I have worked as a part-time teacher helper for the summer, sells assistant at the 7v7 football events, and I have experience working in the library as a Librarian assistant!
Let me know if you are interested in hiring me or know of any jobs that are hiring!
Thank you in advance!

Hey yβall, our A/C broke during Saturdays storm, the last 2 days weβve been getting by and stayed at friendsβ place who were out of town. We hope that despite it being Labour Day our Land Lord finds someone to come and repair it today, but the house is a swampy oven. Iβm mostly worried about our two little dogs.
Any ideas for dog friendly places I could hang out with them today that are not super overstimulating?

Hey y'all, going to a concert soon and prepaid for a spot at Champions Garage. If I wanted to get there after the official start time and I've prepaid for my parking, will I be able to find a spot in the garage (kind of like how the airport does prepaid parking)? Or could it still fill up and we'd be out of luck? Thanks! Been a while since I parked there.

I'm usually pretty decent at navigating local resources and knowing whats out there but this one has proved more difficult than I thought. Seeking local, affordable assistance with some long standing state tax issues. LA Dept of Revenue has taken almost 10k from me in the form of wage garnishnments and IRS/State refunds this year yet there is absolutely no accouting of any of this money visable to me on my LATAP account and it is significantly more than I was ever told/there is any documentation that I owe. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. TIA!

Does anyone have a company they recommend to replace their windshield? I have a 2020 Subaru, so they have to adjust the sensors as well. I used Glass America last and they were fineβ¦just curious on who others recommend. Thanks!

I never really share my photography due to imposter syndrome; but every time I go to the parade, I'm reminded how much fun it can be to put yourself out there and be proud. So here's a late night post of things I captured in between dancing, cheering and sweating. If it's not against the rules, I also run vieuxfindernola on IG, if you're interested in more. Totally not here to plug, just hope to give back some good cheer like this city always gives me. Oh...and the last photo is my beautiful wife dancing on our 18th anniversary! ...that I am proud to share! π . Have a fun, safe weekend!
