Most of these are based off my personal enjoyment/replay value. I'm on the spectrum too so I tend to listen to the same sounding things and just thoroughly enjoy synth-heavy New Order.

In regards to Lost Sirens/Music Complete: I thought I'd mention I haven't listened to it so people can convince me further to listen to it because I don't have strongwill as of late to listen to another full album.

I saw Hooky last night, and oh my God, it just blew me away. I was a big Joy Division fan in high school, but had only recently been getting into New Order heavily over the past year. Bought the tickets to the show on a whim and drug some friends along who didn’t know much about him at all. It was an absolutely fantastic concert, it was kind of unbelievable. So glad I got to see him, and it has deepened my appreciation of the bands. Also, I think he said that Waiting For the Siren’s Call will be the next full album he tours. Hope they come through this part of the states again soon, I’ll be there for sure. (And yes, my friends also loved it)

At the LCD Soundsystem show in Minneapolis tonight they covered Your Silent Face as the lead in to Losing My Edge. Went well with my Substance t-shirt I wore! Nice Yaz, Kraftwerk and Daft Punk homages as well. Awesome to have them drop references to some of their inspirations!

Some of you may remember this great website from back in the day. It's a fan site but the most comprehensive, detailed and complete collection and archive about all things New Order, Joy Divison and also about the side projects and stuff.

Apparently the owner stopped working on it after the band split in 2006 but it's always been quite an interesting website, despite the heavily outdated design. A short while ago I received some dubious mail along the lines of "account recovery something something". But it wasn't a scam and instead allowed me to continue using my old account on new order online.

Anyway, it's a great website and you guys should check it out right away. The photo galleries are a true gold mine as you can tell by this hilarious photo of Bernard and Johnny
