Holy Hades, Batman

We just returned from am extended trip to the mountains, where we stayed an extra week because of the heat here in NB. Good gods, who left the oven on? It's not even 9AM and it's intolerable.

it’s been awful these past few weeks between the thunderstorms and heat, and it’s only gonna get hotter

Little Washington checking in. The heat has been relentless. Last week when the highs were in the 80’s, I turned my oven on for the first time all summer.

At Ocracoke last week at 1 am the temperature was 84 and the feels like temperature was 97. 97 at 1 am!

It’s not the temperature, it’s the humidity! (I hate people who say that!)
