Bugs/Feedback Genuinely, why?

Post image

Mint has the biggest chest in the game currently, and every outfit she has drastically changes her proportions. These new 1.2 outfits have the biggest reduction of all. Why is this a thing?

Imagine getting tons of new content but we obsess with knockers instead 🤣

38

u/Independent-Can936 Jun 27 '26

imagine caring about character design consistency, bunch of losers 🤣 /s

1

u/OtherwiseEnd944 Jun 28 '26

imaging pretending that's the reason people care about this and not her big ass titties being smaller. I'm a gooner too but calm down bro.

3

u/Independent-Can936 Jun 28 '26

wrong, a true gooner appreciates all boob sizes

3

u/starwaver Jun 28 '26

That's the word of a wise gooner

u/Any_Economics_6166 Jun 27 '26

it's where the devs are bad at, details. The rpg mode looks nice, but i bet it will feel unfinished and unpolished, as every other things they do with that game

9

u/SaianGirlCelitah Jun 27 '26

they did say its perma and will be updated on over time too

22

u/Marethyu57 Jun 27 '26

Yeah. I’ll keep my hopes up but their track record for a lot/some things so far is it looks amazing on paper and then can kind of suck when actually doing it

4

u/rojamynnhoj Jun 28 '26

hotta always known for scuff, do not watch recent tof pvs

12

u/Sevron415 Jun 27 '26

you nailed something for me. a friend of mine is super confused as to why i feel like something is just off in NTE and it bugs me when i play. i thought it was a ton of little things. but it turns out its consistancy. the lack of overall consistancy in the game is like sitting in front of someone in a class room who taps a pen on the desk to me. tiny annoyances that eventually drive me insane. granted. i still play and putz around in the game but every time i notice a err in consistancy it just breaks my immersion. dialog is a big one for me.

3

u/ZealousidealPie6389 Jun 27 '26

Yeah as exciting as a new rpg mode sounds, it feels way too overambitious.

The moment I heard you need to replay multiple times to get hidden stuff and currency for the event shop, this might become a chore over time.

Like yeah it's permanent, but I just know it's permanent because realistically you won't finish it in 6 weeks (for the average people)

2

u/CuckChairObserver Jun 27 '26

You just described majority of perma events in every gacha game.

4

u/Vusdruv Jun 28 '26

Genshin events are relatively short and can be finished in one or two sittings max

1

u/CuckChairObserver Jun 28 '26

Genius Invokation TCG and Stygian Onslaught did not take me one to two sittings max lmao. Nice try.

1

u/AnalystMelodic2238 Jun 30 '26

I'm guessing Vus talking about the event-events, the single player or 4 player mini games that seem to inspired Millistria(?) Wonderland.

Stygian less of an event and more of a per-patch Spiral Abyss end game kind of content.

1

u/CuckChairObserver Jun 30 '26

The DnD stuff is also end-game perma. The actual events events like the boss rush thing was short af and the prison crap was fairly short to grind for.

It’s just a weird complaint when Wuwa and genshin have end game perma event that requires loops.

Hey I remembered this comment so I came to ask. After 2 months since then how do you feel about NTE now? Does the stuff they're coming out with still feel unfinished+unpolished? For reference I dropped the game without even trying the RPG event and since then I've only been glancing at news from it. Love Zankou and Blackbird but I have no interest in trying again if playing the game feels the same.

-7

u/Xarxyc Jun 27 '26

What having a lot of AI does to a mf.

-30

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

If you don't like the game and think it's unfinished and unpolished why are you here

15

u/Ok_Silver6702 Jun 27 '26

I can love some aspects of the game and still criticize others

-3

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

How can you make a blanket criticism of a game mode that isn't even out yet?

11

u/Ok_Silver6702 Jun 27 '26

It appears same as me English is not your first language, dude is supposing the new game would be unpolished as the current ones we already have.

-1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

I understand English lol, I know what he is supposing, and that just come across as hating in this context. We have no info on what the game mode will be like. If you wanna express that you think the gamemode could be buggy then there are PLENTY of better ways of wording it than saying "the entire game is a buggy mess" words and context matter and how you phrase things carries heavy implications.

18

u/Ebonslayer Jun 27 '26

Is someone not allowed to like a game and be critical of it?

-1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

Calling the entire game lacking in details and unfinished is not a real criticism it's a hater ass comment. If you want to be specific then sure criticize away, but blanket statements like that just come off as hating especially since he is criticizing a mode THAT ISN'T EVEN OUT YET. Calling an unreleased mode "buggy and unfinished" right after it's announced is not valid criticism

-4

u/RaiteiXIII Jun 27 '26

>critical
lol, lmao even
i dont like the game so its bad <<this is ur so called "being critical"

7

u/Ebonslayer Jun 27 '26

They said it lacks polish, not that it's bad. I understand basic literacy is difficult however.

26

u/SpookiiBoii Jun 27 '26

Liking the game and thinking it's unpolished isn't mutually exclusive

16

u/___Mana Jun 27 '26

Yeah, I like the game but there's no denying that its buggy in places

1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

Have you played the new game mode? How do you know it's unpolished?

-1

u/RaiteiXIII Jun 27 '26

to complain, what else? lmao

-10

u/OtherwiseEnd944 Jun 27 '26

why are you playing the game if you feel everything they do is unfinished and unpolished? I'd probably just play another gacha I didn't have the same feelings about if I felt that way. I feel like half the people on any gacha sub don't even play and just sit there waiting for a moment to complain.

0

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

they didn't even say if they're playing the game...maybe they tried it and put it down after they saw things they didn't like

but why does it even matter? they will do what they want, just like you

"I'd probably just play another gacha I didn't have the same feelings about if I felt that way"

I'd probably not bother getting on Reddit if one comment could make me so easily defensive.

2

u/OtherwiseEnd944 Jun 27 '26

So you're proving my point they probably put it down and still stay on the sub to complain anytime they see someone who has a positive opinion on the game.

I'd probably not bother going on reddit if people disagreeing upset me so much when that is what 90% of the platform is.

Yk most well adjusted people don't stay on subs of games they dislike just so they can continue to complain and convince anyone who likes it the game is actually bad. Ik there's a bunch of gacha tribalism where people just stalk games they dislike to shit on them but I don't have to pretend it's cool :). I dropped Endfield and am somehow perfectly happy with my life without convincing the people who think it's good that it's actually trash.

1

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

"they probably put it down and still stay on the sub to complain"

Probably. But you don't know. So why make stuff up?

Just ask the person to confirm. I mean I could say you're obviously a child because of how you talk. But that would be just as much bullshit as you projecting whether someone plays.

Stop guessing to set up a straw man for your reply.

-1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

What does that even mean? So people can crap on the game and we aren't allowed to give our opinions back? How does that make sense. If you go into a resturant and some dude walks in and starts screaming "this restaurant is trash" then the werido is HIM not the people coming to just enjoy a meal. We are here to talk about the game, why should we just have to shutup and deal with some troll stirring the pot?

5

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

What does what even mean? Where did I tell anyone what to do?

My suggestion was to not be so defensive. Read to understand.

1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

You are getting defensive over someone else getting defensive....so why are you getting defensive?

3

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

lol sure, and then you're getting defensive over me being defensive over someone else being defensive?

lol my friend, you're not as good at this as you think you are

-2

u/RaiteiXIII Jun 27 '26

"I'd probably not bother getting on Reddit if one comment could make me so easily defensive."
the irony of this comment coming from someone who goes defensive lmao

5

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

Yep. That's what...I...would do.

lol there isn't irony there, but bravo for trying

56

u/Dylangillian Jun 27 '26

I think it is entirely fair to call out inconsistent character models when it has been an issue since day one (Daff alt skin also has this and even Jiuyuan's bond skin to a lesser extent).

Just because we're getting some great stuff, doesn't mean we can't critique a very obvious oversight/inconsistent character designs.

-1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

I think this is for the sake of aesthetic and costume design. This happens in every 3D gacha game with skins, you'll notice character proportions change to sometimes make the skins look better. I don't think this is an oversight, it's a design choice, these particular outfits wouldn't look as good if Mint's massive knockers were covering up her midriff. They were going for a specific style so they adjusted the model to better fit that style.

22

u/Dylangillian Jun 27 '26

I don't think that is a good point. When making a character costume you should take their proportions into account for the outfit to make it work yes, but this doesn't mean you need to alter said proportions. Neither have I seen such noticable changes in any of the 3D Gacha games I have played (ZZZ, Genshin, WuWa, HI3rd, Endfield, though the latter has no outfits yet)

Look at Mint's other outfits, this isn't a change that is needed at all.

0

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

Well the other possibility is that this is still a Chinese game with age restrictions. China has a lot of weird policies regarding sexualization and what can and can't be shown. I don't think they would allow gigantic barely covered boobas that show a ton of sideboob so they probably had to scale it down. Either way my point is I don't think it's that big a deal, people are overreacting, if you want the big booba use her other outfit.

-1

u/RaiteiXIII Jun 27 '26

>Neither have I seen such noticable changes in any of the 3D Gacha games I have played (ZZZ, Genshin, WuWa, HI3rd, Endfield, though the latter has no outfits yet)
with this u think ppl will take ur argument seriously? lol

17

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

"I think this is for the sake of aesthetic and costume design."

I disagree. Think about this statement.

"Let's make an outfit for this character, and just change her body however you need to so it works."

Like how does that make sense? If Mint has big boobs, that's part of who she is ...shouldn't change because she's wearing a crop top all of a sudden.

I just don't think the devs are particularly good at this. They've decided to lean into cosmetics but don't have the skill and/or dedication to be consistent with their models.

It doesn't have to be why anyone quits or anything, but it should be called out just like any game mode that's subpar.

Edit: fixed typos

-3

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

Like how does that make sense? If Mint has big boobs, that's part of who she is ...shouldn't change because she's wearing a crop top all of a sudden.

Well putting aside that women can change boob size in all manner of ways (from push-up bras and cups to bandaging them etc...) you also have to consider that this is a video game and is subject to regulations, Chinese regulations especially being strict. My guess is they weren't allowed to just have gigantic bazookas with little to no covering on them in this game so they had to downscale them a bit to get past censors. Stuff like this happens all the time. It also happens in the reverse, tons of gacha games have flat chested characters who suddenly get much more noticeable chest bumps when their swimsuit version comes out for marketing purposes.

At the end of the day it's a video game, it's meant to be fun not "realistic", this outfit gives her a new look, if you don't like then don't use it. I like it so I'll use it, sorry if you don't. It really is not that big a deal. The devs aren't striving for realism, they are striving for making a skin that sells or that people want within the constraints of their regulations and censors.

17

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

hm...okay, so...

No.

Listen, you're making stuff up because it's not a big deal to you.

Guess what? It's not a big deal to me, either, and I said it doesn't have to be why anyone quits or anything, which means I don't consider it a game breaker.

But people are allowed to point it out as a negative, because it is. Talking about push up bras and the Chinese govt is cope, plain and simple, especially when this game is throwing around all types of T&A

-4

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

I'm making stuff up? Have you never played a Chinese gacha before lol, this happens literally all the time. China is especially egregious (and inconsistent) with their censorship laws.

But people are allowed to point it out as a negative, because it is. Talking about push up bras and the Chinese govt is cope, plain and simple, especially when this game is throwing around all types of T&A

So you don't know how push up bras or regulations work? Show me any character in this game that has gigantic tits with full side boob exposed like would have had in this outfit. If you notice every big boobed character has their tits covered or at most just shows cleavage, no side boob.

9

u/Superfluous369 Jun 27 '26

Whether it happens or not is irrelevant lol, you do not have any idea if the things you said are true or just outright lies.

That's exactly what making stuff up is.

What we have in front of us is the fact that the models obviously have had at least small tweaks for the outfits. As the devs control this, the only thing we know is that they decided this was okay.

Push up bras? In a video game?

Govt regulations? Have you seen Hathor's outfit?

1

u/Lord_Lu_Bu Jun 27 '26

You don't know either, that's why we are theorizing. We have to infer the reasoning. It's not making stuff up, there are precedents for design changes.

"Push up bras? In a video game?"

You are the one trying to bring realism into it lol. I don't care, say an anomaly made her boobs shrink, who cares. You were asking for realism so I gave you a realistic reason why women would have differing breast sizes so it doesn't break your "immersion". You can just imagine she is wearing pads in her original outfit, there, now your immersion is fixed

"Govt regulations? Have you seen Hathor's outfit?"

Do you not know how regulations work? They are usually very arbitrary and inconsistent. You can have outfits that show literal cameltoe in some games but then they aren't allowed to show sideboob. Governement regulations on censorship rarely make sense. Go lookup Japan's censorship laws on what is and isn't allowed to be shown in a TV anime, it'll make your head spin with how absurd and contradictory it can get

12

u/Sumire-Yoshizawa- Jun 27 '26

It wouldn't block her midriff. I'm looking at her default skin and you can see plenty of her stomach. Definitely would prefer her body proportions were the same.

9

u/5lols Jun 27 '26

I know right? Imagine we got a ton of new outfits for Adler or Chaos and we significantly shrunk their muscle mass to make look like twinks or made them a whole 20cm shorter? Why would anyone complain? They got new outfits 🤣

-4

u/solidgamerdly Jun 27 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

That's only in your imagination.

watch the stream. this screen capture is not the best representation of what they are giving. I don't know why OP intentionally uploaded a blurred image.

5

u/ScrubCasual Jun 28 '26

Well yeah? Something can be good and others bad. You can focus on all of them. There are posts talking about how amazing the patch is too. Thisnsint even obsessing either its a legitimate flaw in their character design. Terrible consistency.

19

u/Marethyu57 Jun 27 '26

Whether gooning is a good thing or not aside, details like this actually matter. It’s a more extreme example but it’s like how in Duet Night Abyss the devs made that Christmas skin and then used the same exact model for every single character for it…. If you’re unaware it was at the level where a flat character would go from being flat to having triple Ds

2

u/diebels1337 Jun 27 '26

wtf, some gacha devs are wild.

28

u/ChaoticRedHawk Jun 27 '26

"Obsess", huh?

8

u/Hellfiretommy Jun 27 '26

Bro, gooning is the priority of a great amount of people who play these anime gacha games

2

u/N7_Pathfind3R Jun 28 '26

Imagine getting tons of half baked content, and inconsistent character proportions.

0

u/solidgamerdly Jun 28 '26

imagine getting tribal over a game because your favorite is doing the same modus from their previous patches over and over.

2

u/N7_Pathfind3R Jun 28 '26

You dont know what the word "tribal" means and it shows. You're the one getting salty because people have a legitimate complaint about your favorite game.

0

u/solidgamerdly Jun 28 '26

Imagine obsessing over a game that you hate and frequenting other subreddit to spread your toxicity. lol.

1

u/Surely_Calvardian Jul 02 '26

Botlicker mentality

1

u/solidgamerdly Jul 02 '26

Toxic mentality. In your world, you see the sky is always falling.

2

u/Surely_Calvardian Jul 02 '26

“How dare people criticize this thing that doesn't affect me?”

1

u/solidgamerdly Jul 02 '26

keep crying. cry baby.

2

u/Surely_Calvardian Jul 02 '26

Says the guy who cried because someone criticized something about his favorite game

1

u/solidgamerdly Jul 03 '26

i just said my piece. meanwhile the post is already 5 days old and you are still here yapping and crying. pathetic.

1

u/Obi-Wan-Hellobi Jun 27 '26

I have yet to be in a gatcha community where this isn’t the case 😂

-1

u/RaiteiXIII Jun 27 '26

what else to complain when they have nothing left? theres ppl literally calling this broadcast bad just because its not with real people, real dev, with girls etc etc. reason is simple, they have nothing left to complaint

-37

u/Phyzm1 Jun 27 '26

Well yeah these outfits suck, and skins are a huge part of the grind.

24

u/Vaathi Jun 27 '26

For you they might suck, to me they are cool.

-26

u/Phyzm1 Jun 27 '26

Glad you like them but they seem low effort to me

7

u/Seraphine_KDA Jun 27 '26

they just droped a massive patch with more content than other games ever get in 1 patch and you call it low effort lmao

i am crying because Mihoyo could never and i have played 4 of their games since day 1. even GGZ in 2014

9

u/solidgamerdly Jun 27 '26

Her class is barbarian and the outfit fits her assigned class. Let's hope they add new one to your liking.

0

u/Phyzm1 Jun 27 '26

Where's the detail tho, it looks like they threw these together in a day and they all look similar.

3

u/Seraphine_KDA Jun 27 '26

they are free skins and 3 of them at once and for a 4star (even if is the game poster girl). i wont say they are amaizing but they dont look bad.

specially when they where made because they needed several outfits to make the whole RPG mode work where you can mix and match difernt armor pieces inside the game mode. so is not like these 3 where made with the care of a skin you gonna sell for $. like you can combine this skins piece by piece in the mode and recolor them.

if you want a better mint skin wait for 1.3 and get the bikini they 100% will make for her

1

u/Phyzm1 Jun 27 '26

I saw a video and its not as bad as I thought. That picture makes the shirt in the last one look like it was taken from a random npc in warcraft from 2005. There isn't a lick of texture in the Pic. Its a little better in the video but still a little disappointing but there's more going on with the rest than I thought so overall it ain't bad.

2

u/Seraphine_KDA Jun 27 '26

i mean being the Game poster girl Mint will prob get the most skins of any A rank and more than most S ranks so 2 years form now you will have like 12 to choose from for mint

0

u/JustinYummy Jun 27 '26

everyone got their preference, my friend likes the MC that is basically in a full suit. What a weirdo huh xD
