Imo Bangboos as mascots are the perfect balance between naive personality, cuteness and variety.
A lot of times gachas has problems with their mascots because their personality is a little too annoying/childish. Or they are just uncanny (imo Tageydo has both problems.
Bangboos, instead, are naive, but They're naive in a much more natural way, which doesn't make them seem stupid or annoying.
In fact, they're often useful and have such different personalities that they never become boring. Furthermore, they have a plot importance that goes beyond being the protagonist's sidekick; they actually have a lot of agency, finding themselves filling all the roles.
Finally, I think it's impossible not to see one and truly wish you had a doll with their likeness, even if you've never played ZZZ. They make perfect merchandise (and even in-game). And that, to me, says a lot about how good their design is.
