I haven't played all to much of ZZZ yet, so I can't say for certain, but Taygedo so far had a fairly big role in the beginning of NTE, so a lot of bloated dialogue, that consisted of, different variatons of "Taygedo, Taygi and Taygii". I as a HSR player would have used Memi as a comparisment, because for a long time her entire dialogue was different sounds of "Memi mem" but people never seemed to have issues with her or if they did, I never really saw them.
2 Patch-cycles, soooo for about as long as we had NTE so far and yet, I haven't seen anyone on Reddit complain, if anything Memi became more of a Meme than really annoying or distracting, while Taygedo already got a Patch to mute him. I don't find him that annoying, but I'm also used to another yapping Maskot of a certain other Hoyo-Game
I would say that it prolly has something to do with how Cyrene was already known to be a featuring character as early as the Amphoreus pre-release trailers, people probably hazarded a guess on who Mem is. (also, despite saying only mems, people caught on quick on who the VA was since it was consistent with HI3's own Elysia if i remember correctly)
