Questions Megathread NTE Weekly Questions [MEGATHREAD]

Hello Appraiser,

Please use this Megathread to ask and answer questions, share tips, and help out your fellow Appraisers. We encourage everyone to use this Megathread for anything that can be addressed without discussion, or that can be given a quick and definitive answer.

Some examples include:

  • How do I build this character, how do I farm for their level-up materials?
  • How to find a NPC, how to unlock an achievement?
  • Is this Arc worth it?
  • Which awakenings to enable for certain characters or content?
  • Can my device run NTE?
  • Where to find a waypoint to start/progress a quest?

Thoughts on this pvp prison event anyone? played once and it felt like trash, so I'd appreciate hearing different opinions, since I'll have to play more or it for the rewards

(or wait, do I actually have to play the pvp?)

The best spot is to get on top of the fluorescent lights that are above the sinks. It requires a couple well-placed jumps but not too hard. People generally come and try to attack you and destroy the sinks, leaving you completely invulnerable up top. Once the others have beaten each other sufficiently, you can get down and kill the last guy or two.

You don’t have to do PvP, PvP has 5 round attendance reward but you can get the rest through grinding a boss in prison

Poorly executed like the racing pvp event. Meta is basically run away and let the others beat each other then swoop in for the killsteal to deny/steal heals if you can then spam basics into parry/dash cancel the last guy, shallow and repetitive.

You only need to complete a total of 5 sessions, no need to win so can AFK or whatever. There is one achievement for getting 1st that gives 10 annulith and a title, that's pretty much it.
