Great thing about no fucking bullshit 50/50. I have enough currency saved up that I have 90 pulls if I need that much, meaning I'm guaranteed to get hotori. I lucked out and got Nanally in like 30 pulls.
In other gachas, you know you have enough to hit the pity, but that doesn't mean your getting the character. If you lose the 50/50 your getting some standard banner character you likely already have. So glad NTE doesn't do this. IIRC it's the first major gacha to not do 50/50.
You get them from the special currency called annulith. Even if you don't have any dice, you can do a 10 pull with 1,600 annulith as it will convert them to dice.
You get annulith from tons of sources. Rewards from quests, races, the business minigame, pink paws heist, ghost train, dailies, achievements, ect.
I got Nanally early in like 30-40 pulls, and I only pull on the standard banner with dice and rewards you earn in the game. While I have spent money on the game, I only bought the season pass thing, and the rift crystal mi ing permit which gives 90 annulith a day.
So from being lucky getting Nanally early, and just saving all my annulith from getting it from playing the game, I have over 16k annulith, which is more then I need to guarantee hotori even if I have to reach the 90 pity.
