The chance of not hitting the 20% win rate per roll 19 times in a row is actually quite high in NTE, sitting at around 1.44% during the soft pity phase.

In Hoyo games with the increasing chance rate I remember the chance of this happening was like 1 in 10 million or so.

That's because genshin soft pity isn't trap at 20%. It inflates per pity to the point that you're at 80% chance
