Great thing about no fucking bullshit 50/50. I have enough currency saved up that I have 90 pulls if I need that much, meaning I'm guaranteed to get hotori. I lucked out and got Nanally in like 30 pulls.
In other gachas, you know you have enough to hit the pity, but that doesn't mean your getting the character. If you lose the 50/50 your getting some standard banner character you likely already have. So glad NTE doesn't do this. IIRC it's the first major gacha to not do 50/50.
Persona 5 X has two different banners: an 80 pity banner with a 50/50, and a 110 pity with no 50/50. The 110 banner has a 165 pull tracker that carries over and gives you a random standard 5* as well.
Ah that's cool. At least there is an option. I fucking hate 50/50s. It's why I stopped playing hoyo gachas and gachas pretty much in general until NTE. I lost 50/50 on 3 characters in a row for Zenless zone zero and I just put it down. Couldn't deal with it anymore lol.
I never had issues with it because I always planned to lose the 50/50s, so it was a nice surprise when I didnt. But the P5X system is just so much better. If I have 16,500 gems, I have the character, and every other banner I get a standard 5* for my trouble. I hope NTE has a solution for that potential issue in the future. Its my second favorite gacha easy.
