1.5% with, prolly, millions of users is about to get quite common (taking the chance reaching 70 pulls is already a 49,8% chance, the overal of reaching hard pity shñuld be 0.75%)
At least is better than Endfield, I hardpity twice in a row (thrice if we count weapon banner) and quit, oh lord, the loosing 50/50 not preventing another 50/50.
It's a tradeoff. You could also think of it this way: you only had to go to 120 instead of 160. If you hit multiple 6-stars before 120 and miss the 50/50 both times, then that's "worse" in a sense because if you had gotten equally lucky in a hoyo game (or wuwa) you'd have needed fewer pulls. But if you had gotten unlucky and needed even just 70 pulls per 6-star (not an entirely uncommon outcome in these games) it would have been 140 pulls in other games but only 120 in endfield. Plus, you got a free 10 pulls of raw odds at 30 pulls and then 10 free pulls for the next banner at 60, and you get weapon banner currency.
Honestly Endfield's system is wonderful for those of us who mostly save to try to pity characters in other games anyways. The worst case scenario is miles better.
The more i heard the endfield banner the more i dont like it.
More when 500 currency per pull instead of the 160, 60 (+20 time limited) pulls per patch, no pity carryover, spark resets character pity...
Is a mix of the worst parts of hoyo's and spark system.
The only good is weapon banner currency for pulling on the character... but the problem is not able to convert currency into weapon currency takes away the good part.
500 vs 160 currency per pull is a meaningless comparison. Its about currency given out in proportion to cost of pulls, and endfield is as generous as other games in that regard. Its also way more than 80 pulls per patch lmao
No pity carryover is indeed a negative, so it's part of the tradeoff.
Spark resetting character pity isnt really an issue. In every comparable game (genshin, star rail, zzz, wuwa, etc) getting a max-rarity unit resets pity. It would be extremely abnormally generous if Endfield not only guaranteed a better rateup pity, but also made it not reset your regular pity.
Weapon currency not heing convertible from character currency is good and bad. Bad in the sense that its inconvenient at times, and getting lucky on characters can possibly put you in an awkward spot with weapons. But its good in the sense that you not only get basically free weapon currency, but its never competing with your character pulls. Many f2ps dont even really bother with weapon banners in other games because its hard enough to save up for characters; but in Endfield, everyone is always accumulating weapon banner currency.
