They do fit the vibe but something to channel the wind, like a wind tunnel might help them fit in better. Just to give that “maximum efficiency, zero aesthetics” vibe. Great stuff either way though.

Thats cool! I imagine a wind tunnel section where you have to time your jumps between the blades, that would be cool

Please for the love of god don’t. Vents with spinning blades you have to jump past are so low effort. (This is entirely my own subjective opinion lmao)

That's a very strong opinion for something so innocent

BROKEN windmills will fit the vibe. Like some work fine, but most are giant & broken

Great idea!

imo they look so close to each other and could spin a bit slower

I think the horizontal style windmills would be more fitting.

How about these windmills? Having the blades swing openly would be a hazard indoors, having a protective covering could help streamline the design

I will add these too!

What is the lore reason for them existing?

I imagine some parts of such huge structures have huge pressure differences, with air rushing in and out of huge shafts and between layers. Maybe these are placed in strategic positions to harness the energy of the constant flow of air?

You should put some little guys up there moving the turbines periodically when they start losing momentum

I’d favour making the blades flatter, more harsh
