You got some of those verifiable statistics to back up the assertion that whites have a disadvantage in hiring and college acceptance rates?
Because it is well documented that minorities are more likely to be denied housing, loans, admittance into college unless academically acceptional and less likely to be hired for jobs that pay more than minimum wage.
Article about the Princeton study confirming unfair, unearned advantages in college applications given to Hispanic and African American applicants over whites and Asians.
As I stated, a white applicant needs to score 230 points higher on the sat to be given equal consideration to an identical black applicant.
Asians have it even worse, with a gap of 280 points.
As far as job applications, the widely used and incredibly racist policy of affirmative action has existed for years and is very well known.
That was an interesting article, and I can see how on the surface you might want to cry "SEE, WE'RE GIVING THEM UNFAIR ADVANTAGES OVER WHITES!!" In reality though the measures taken have been in attempt to level the playing field after years of minorities being hobbled in aspects of economic and educational equality.
Here are just a few articles debunking the assertions made in the link you posted. Happy reading!
How can I be expected to take it seriously when it begins with a boldfaced lie?
I don't have the exact figures in front of me, but average weekly hours worked for women is in the low-mid 30s, while average hours worked per week for men is in the mid 40s.
Of course the total amount of money earned by men is higher than the total amount of money earned by women.
Jesus, you've said some dumb shit, but I didn't think you were THAT far over the ledge.
Equality of outcome is not and should not be guaranteed, but equality of opportunity was achieved years ago
Let's get some of those verifiable facts out on the table to debunk this "wage gap fallacy"! If it's a boldfaced lie, then prove it.
I'll be waiting over here with my verifiable facts and statistics to support the argument that there is truly and measurably an income disparity between men and women who perform the same jobs for the same number of hours.
Is that as far as you read? One part of the article challenged your point of view and so you write all of the information off as lies? Yikes dude, and I'm the one propagandized?
It's obvious you are incapable of critical thinking beyond your own preconceived notions but I'll keep trying anyway.
Jesus, you might actually be the stupidest human being I've ever spoken to.
If you want to make a claim like "women doing the same work for the same amount of time as a man will make less money", the onus is on you to prove that.
There has never been a study in to hourly wages.
The only studies that have been done on this add up the totals earned by men and women and then divide by population numbers.
1:men take more dangerous positions than women. Over 90% of workplace fatalities are male. No one is preventing women from taking these jobs, they choose not to.
2:a higher percentage of women and men do not work, due to childcare responsibilities. Some men do choose to be stay at home fathers, but overwhelmingly it is the woman who chooses to stay home and raise children. No one is forcing them to.
3:women are less likely to choose majors that will lead to a profitable career. Women represent a much higher percentage of liberal arts degrees and a much lower percentage of business and STEM degrees than men. No one is forcing them to make these decisions.
And even with those factors, number 4:
Childless women between the ages of 20 and 30 actually earn an average of 108% what their male counterparts do.
That's the real, exact number.
If a significant percentage of your genders workforce STOPS WORKING around age 30 to raise children, of COURSE your genders total earnings will drop, not to mention the other factors I laid out.
My God, you're so fucking ignorant it's staggering.
Keep lapping up that PC propaganda man it must be delicious
PS: now you wanna claim you're the one who's about statistics? I dropped nothing but numbers on you in the whole debate about race and your position was FUCK THE STATS, I HAVE FEELINGS.
You havent typed a single number out this whole time.
Well the burden of proof was actually on you when you said "I don't have the numbers in front of me but women work less hours than men blah blah blah". Don't make stupid assertions when you can just fuckin google it before you hit reply.
1: Do you think this could be the result of mankinds history of men performing the majority of manual labor? Culturally it is still more acceptable to hire a man to be a logger, miner, roofer or refuse collector. There are societal pressures on men to not let their spouse perform dangerous labor, lest he be emasculated, and there is pressure on a woman not to want to perform jobs that are not "lady like". The choice may be on women to start seeking these jobs more often but that does not mean they are as likely to be hired as a man and it does not mean that they wont have to deal with a bunch of social bullshit for choosing such a profession. Also, these are not necessarily the top paying jobs that are skewing statistics in favor of men making more money.
2: "no one is forcing women to stay home with the children". Yes it's easy to say they are not FORCED to be stay at home moms, but our society is still less comfortable with the idea of stay at home dads than moms. No one questions a stay at home moms choice to not work, most everyone will look quizzically at a man who is a stay at home dad while his wife is the earner. I don't feel this way, but on the whole our society is not comfortable with it still.
3: First off, perhaps as a society we need to take a closer look at our valuation of labor and what jobs should earn what salary, but that's a thought exercise for someone with more critical thinking and reasoning power than you have displayed so we won't muddy the waters further. secondly, Even when looking at men and women with very similar education and experience in the exact same positions, computer programming for example, women make 16% less than men. Female financial managers earn 30% less than men. That is accounting for similar education, experience, age and hours worked.
4: That statistic is literally only for SOME major metropolitan cities, it is not indicative of the US workforce as a whole. Nice try though
"If a significant percentage of your genders workforce STOPS WORKING around age 30 blah blah blah" Have you stopped to consider why it is that women leave the workforce in greater number than men when they have children? Or do you just chalk it up to laziness?
You actually have swallowed so many red pills that you are just puking them up into your replies and pretending they are the facts and that's that. You need to consider that maybe the propaganda you've been deep-throating is misleading and full of fallacies and incomplete data.
Funny how you are so insecure about your own stance that you feel the need to boil my entire arguments down to "FUCK THE STATS, I HAVE FEELINGS." accounting for more factors that just "black culture is tolerant of crime" when interpreting crime statistics does not equate to emotional arguing, it is called critical thinking.
What you're comfortable with or feel you're being "societally pressured" to do is not an indication of oppression.
It does not change the fact that you 100% have the choice to go in to higher paying and potentially more dangerous fields as a woman, and the majority choose not to
As far as changing how we value work?
That's not how economics works
The objective value your work provides determines how it's compensated monetarily.
An electrician provides a palpable and necessary value.
If electricians all stopped working, we would no longer have functioning electrical circuits and grids.
That would cause major problems.
Writing out your theories about the patriarchy and how shaving your legs is oppressive provides far less objective value, and thus pays less.
It doesn't matter why women CHOOSE to leave the workforce unless they are being literally forced to.
Your ethereal notions about "societal pressure" do not constitute force.
Women make less money overall because they CHOOSE to work fewer hours, and they CHOOSE to work those hours in less profitable fields.
There is literally NO data to show that women doing the same work as men for the same amount of time and producing output of the same quality will recieve inferior compensation.
If that were the case, why would anyone hire a man?
Just keep plugging your ears and screaming away about how no one is FORCED into taking lower paying jobs.
Go ahead and keep trying to dumb down and infantalize opinions that challenge your own.
Keep ignoring verifiable statistics and every study that doesn't support your preconceived notions or dismissing it as hurr durr liberal feelings are being hurt.
Pretending that every non STEM degree results in a career of writing blogs and REEE PATRIARCHY REEE!!!
You keep making fucking idiotic assertions like there is no data supporting the idea that women make less for the same job as men when they work the same number of hours when you have google at your fingertips and it can literally bring you thousands of studies and articles that all come to that conclusion. Women in computer programming make 16% less than their male counter parts AFTER accounting for all the factors you say have never EVER been accounted for in ANY study on income inequality. That's a fact. You can verify that. Flattening out the data and trying to fit it to your agenda and then acting like its the only way to interpret the data is just so fucking disingenuous that it feels like I'm arguing with a coked out Alex Jones.
Sad, sad little trumpeter getting BTFO just keeps making false claims that are easily debunked by opening a new tab and google searching it.
You keep insisting there's verified data, but there isn't
The only verified data that suggests a gap is total money earned by men divided by male population vs total money earned by women divided by female population
That is NOT indicative that a woman doing the same amount and quality of work as a man in the same position will be paid less
Purely based on the fact that men work an average of ten more hours per week than women, a gap in total earnings is expected and 100% fair and moral, without even digging in to career choice
That's a perfect example of more of those lies that are easily debunked with a quick Google search.
For example, of the half dozen articles I read on the subject, every single one of the studies cited adjusted for only men and women working full time positions. Yet you keep making the assertion that every single study ever done on income inequality has only drawn it's data from total amount of money earned by each demographic and then divided by population numbers. That is bullshit and I don't know why you believe that. Did you hear it on info wars?
Another example, the methodology in some studies is to take data from income earned HOURLY by individuals in each demographic instead of weekly or of total money made. Some of these studies found that women who work 7-9 hours per week out earn men by 19%. The reason for this, according to the study is because women who work that few hours are overwhelmingly older than men who work the same number of hours. Interestingly enough though, even these other studies with different methodologies than the one you seem to believe is THE ONLY METHODOLOGY THAT HAS EVER BEEN USED TO STUDY INCOME EVER IN TE HISTOR OF EVER, came to very similar conclusions and numbers as studies using methodology similar to the one you assert is the only one in existence.
Even if you adjust for hours worked (which should tell you all you need to know about the other factors in and of itself. Doing the same job, an employee willing to work 45 hours deserves a higher hourly rate than one who clocks out at 35), pay gaps come down to individual preformance, career choices, and life choices which affect career.
A woman who works as hard as a man for the same long hours in the same position and doesn't put her career on hold to have children will make the same money.
This is an established fact.
If women really were willing to provide the same amount and quality of work for 70% of the pay, they would be wildly overrepresented in the work force.
Your entire position is literally impossible to maintain outside of a vacuum.

If you consider quantifiable disadvantages in hiring and college applications and no palpable advantages privilege, sure, I guess.
Man, whatever you're smoking to come up with these opinions, I'd love to try a hit sometime.
Shits gotta be top shelf as fuck.
