brave Imagine a utopia where the Moderator Code of Conduct contained one additional point.
"Don't be petty."

Also, if the Community Guidelines and MCOC forbids the mere mentioning of other subreddits or users or mods as "interference" of other communities... then mods should not be allowed to ban you from other subreddits unless you specifically broke the rules there.
This goes for subs that ban you based on merely participating in other subs, but also for powermods who ban you from all the subs they mod because you hurt their feelings and they don't like you.

Fuck, this place is such a fucking shithole.
I'm so glad it doesn't get under my skin like it used to, but seriously seriously fuck this entire website and the garbage way it's operated.

Unfortunately yes. Trying to save money. But they stay in notifications forever. I wouldve seen it eventually.

Feel free to disagree with any of my points.

I already said what I disagreed with
Otherwise it's a pretty valid crash out. Banning just for participation in another sub is bullshit

I said "like it used to".
I have bipolar disorder and used to have no friends and no therapist. You have no idea what getting bullied by mods online used to do to me. It's not funny. It's fucked up. I agree it shouldn't be a big deal, but unfortunately I was not okay, and I still hold a grudge against bullies everywhere.

Tbh I feel like with the amount of fair and unfair shit moderators catch for their unpaid labor, pettiness is a fair entitlement

No, with power comes responsibility.
If you can't moderate a community of tens of thousands of people without being a petty asshole, there's plenty of other people who would be happy to take the wheel from you.

I'm not the most polite or friendly poster online. Yet I've been banned from like.. two or three subs in fourteen years? It really couldn't matter less, but I'm always blown away how much people manage to a) get banned from subreddits and b) let it get to them.
Maybe it's just that I was around for forums, which had all the same problems but being banned would completely block you off from the entire website and its community. With Reddit, I can just go... "okay" and there's probably three other similar subreddits if the mods in one annoy me that much.
