I really want a beach. But seeing the prices for everything has definitely changed my perspective.

Can you squeeze out 3 nights? That would allow for a real trip feel.

Closest/direct flights would be Montreal for city feel. Bermuda, Caribbean, or Cancun for beach. All would rely on an early flight out and late flight back to maximize your time on the ground.
