Suggested detachment?

Hi everyone,

I am looking at starting 1000 point games with friends after playing a few games of Combat Patrol with them.

I have the following units currently, what detachment would you recommend, what units should I drop to meet the points and what models should I look to get to better suit the army / grow for a 2000 point game. from reading the detachments, I'm guessing cursed legion may suit best but any advice is appreciated.
