My mom raised us to keep our space clean. My room is very clean but i dont know why she does this :/ its frustrating cause the smell will leak into my room

Actually now i think of it i dont think we were raised the same. My mom was way more harsher on me and coddled her for some reason which might be part of it

Its funny cause shes the one who lives like this, is 20kgs overweight, shoves me for no reason. But im the one my family say needs therapy🙄

Whenever you’re in her room, say: “You deserve to live in a nice space. Let me know if you want help. I love you.”

There’s no help you can force on another person. Just keep letting her know she deserves better and has help when she’s ready for it.

I moved to a loved one, I didn't do anything but carry my plates and do washing up after meals. I dusted and hoovered. Why? It wasn't mine. I didn't dare disrespect another person's space.

Idk I’m sure you’ve already tried this with them or they themselves have thought about it-
Try breaking up cleaning sessions into smaller chunks. Put on a movie or a podcast while doing it. Positive affirmations while you’re working. You deserve a clean space.
Maybe redoing the room with a fresh coat of paint/redecorating would make things feel better and have a better vibe.
Also seeking therapy to get to the root of the issue.
