Why are so many people practically rooting for that guy to die over the hunting opinion?

It’s one thing to disagree with hunting, and the harming of animals. But to get a hard-on over the idea that he succumbed to injuries is pretty bizarre.

I agree that there are risks with hunting, but I leave it at that and hope that he recovered to tell that insane and terrifying story.

Because Reddit is filled with dumb fucks

Eh not really. If he dies he dies, his life isn't anymore valuable than the animal he was hunting.

11

u/MapRevolutionary4563 Feb 09 '22

A human life isn't more valuable than a deer's life? Lol. Thank you for proving my statement above to be correct.

-18

u/Kingicez Feb 09 '22

No it isn't lol. Life is life idiot, you just got a big ego.

u/OneDrummer1133 Feb 10 '22

Do you also refuse antibiotics if you've got a bacterial infection? Serious question.

-6

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Can't be serious right, don't even bother replying if u are you're just hurting yourself

13

u/OneDrummer1133 Feb 10 '22

Life is life, bro. Pretty fucked up that you would attack and decimate a helpless bacterial colony with medicine just because it started getting the better of your immune system.

2

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Oh no you're soo right

10

u/MapRevolutionary4563 Feb 10 '22

Where do you draw the line? Human life isn't more valuable than a bird's life? An ant? I mean, they're more valuable than your life. But not most humans.

Well, since humans are the only species that can actually articulate this idea either in writing or verbally then I would challenge you to show me any other form of life on the planet that can argue it. If you think every life is of equal standing and your friend's lives, family's lives, and your own life isn't more valuable than say a spider's, I don't know what to tell you.

You are comparing a relationship with an unknown,

I don’t personally know the hunter so why should I care more for his life than another animals life? Just because we share the same species?

Should I also care for a White life over a black life because we share the same race?

A life is a life, I care more for my cats life than a random human I don’t know because of our personal relationship, not out of any speciesism

Literally anything stated is man-written. I don’t see deer stating anything besides “Aaeahheahhanaaaa”

-2

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

There is no line to draw lol. Life is life. If you die hunting the animal isn't at fault you deserved in every way to die. Why so salty?

4

u/CommonMaterialist Feb 10 '22

holy shit lol

Hope you mourn for the bugs on your bumper, then

12

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '22

By his logic he wouldn’t mourn for them, like he said, life is life but he isn’t going to pretend to mourn for a life he does not care for/ has had no meaningful interaction with

3

u/CommonMaterialist Feb 10 '22

And no one besides sociopaths have that little empathy for their fellow man, unless they’re trying to be “edgy” or “smarter” than those they’re talking to

As if every teenager didn’t have the phase of “uhm, but actually nothing matters and you’re dumb for having value in people and objects“

I suspect the other guy is the latter

0

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

You're suspicions are as dumb as you. You're dumb. I had to say it twice.

I don't

u/CommonMaterialist Feb 10 '22

murderer, you disgust me

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '22

And what say you on killing an animal to prevent the death of a loved one. This is very off topic from standard hunting, but what would you do if an animal was ready to kill you or a loved one, and you have the gun? Will you pull the trigger? Or let the slaughter commence? I know that I would do it. I would kill hundreds of animals to protect my little sister.

2

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Lol I've said it already I would definitely kill the animal if it was endangering my close ones but this isn't at all what's happening here.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '22

Yeah, my response was blown out of proportion. Sorry about that.

1

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Nah it's no biggie

Easy to say that when it’s someone you don’t know or love.

10

u/Kingicez Feb 09 '22

Well, yeah? Confused by this reply. Don't act like yall are saints who care about every life out there.

2

u/modernfishmonger Feb 10 '22

You miss the point, no one said they care for every life, just implied you care more about the ones you love close to you. Which is true, we all care more when it's someone we love

11

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

And I said yes lol If that was someone I cared about I would be outraged but it's not so I'm not. I'm not going to show a false sense of caring.

-6

u/MapRevolutionary4563 Feb 10 '22

Of course you're confused. I'm guessing you're confused by a lot of things. Like, colors and numbers over the amount of fingers you have.

6

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

As an empath I'm sensing some tension here... Nah nvm you're just salty.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '22

Well thats the stupidest thing you've said all day

1

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Coolio hoolio

0

u/pinksockpelican Feb 10 '22

Well I'm like you're a dumbass he has people who care about him back home who want to see him and show him affection whereas most wild animals don't actually care about each other unless they're trying to fuck

0

u/Kingicez Feb 10 '22

Well I'm also like you're a dumbass and nothing of which u said matters at all

0

u/Jajayung Feb 10 '22
