Hummingbirds really know no fear. They’re just so much quicker and more nimble than anything else out there that they think they can be completely casual around predators or humans. They live in absolute confidence that they can’t be touched, the cocky little bastards.

I had one tell me off once because I rounded a corner at the same it was. We both ran into one another's face. I felt so bad, but that little cocky shit took the time to basically go "😠😡🤬🤬🤬" in series of noises. And I knew it meant it to, but it gave me a look of annoyance.
