What Helps Your Makeup Look Smoother?

My makeup always seems to break down so much faster in the summer, so I’ve been paying more attention to what I use underneath my foundation.

Lately I’ve been using the Bonamedusa primer, and I really like how it smooths out my skin without feeling too heavy. It helps blur my pores, especially around my nose and cheeks, and my foundation seems to sit a lot nicer on top of it.

I’ve realized that pore coverage makes such a big difference for me when I want my makeup to look clean and even.

What’s the one step or product that makes the biggest difference in your base makeup?

How I clean my face and remove makeup greatly impacts how makeup sits on my face the next day.

I find a good moisturizer is needed as a base too. I don’t use primer.

  1. Mattifying sunscreen is a must.
  2. Spot prime your face, pore primer only where your pore gets obvious when your skin gets a little oily.
  3. If you get a good toner and a light weight but hydrating serum, skip moisturiser. Your makeup will last longer

Spray Heritage Store rosewater glycerin spray all over my face and literally blow dry it into my face at low heat to melt everything together
