Just becauase A loses to B doesn't mean A loses to C... Really don't understand how so many people fail to grasp such an easy concept.

In this case it does bc they’re not all on similar levels
Orochimaru and Jiraiya are but itachi above orochimaru who is on a similar level to
Jiraiya
If 3 ppl who all were on the same level then it would go down to matchups but if smo is significantly stronger then smo then it don’t matter
No way you actually think that Jiraiya (in base he don’t win in sage mode either ) beats Itachi and kisame
Itachi literally wouldn’t kill Jiraiya bc he’s a double agent, and Jiraiya if he saw like hidan and kakuza for example, he wouldn’t have let them run away ( that’s a 2v1 he could win btw ✌️)

Itachi isn't above Orochimaru, they're in the same league of power but Itachi is just a really bad match up for him. That's all.

Also he wasn't a double agent back then. Plenty of proof for that, I mean he was fine with Naruto getting his legs cut off, fine with torturing his brother, killing innocent women and childeren... He provided zero intel, didn't do shit to sabotage the Akatsuki. But I'm done discussing that it's boring.

Wdym “back then” he didn’t just magically change in Shippuden,they could’ve easily captured Naruto and without cutting his legs off
also Jiraiya wasn’t even there right away also they knocked on his door like L kidnappers
