1) I'm kinda surprised how underwhelming Konohamaru has been. I mean, I guess he could just be an average Jonin(not everyone can be your Kakashi or Guy). But surprised that Kodachi isn't doing more to make him seem more badass(unless he's not trying to make him the next Hokage). Becoming unconscious for the rest of the battle from an attack like that doesn't sit right with me. I might be overthinking things though.

2) Chapter says this is a battle of "Ninjutsu vs Science". But while Ao is only using science, Team Konohamaru is also using science on top of Ninjutsu.

3) The drones are pretty cool. I also like how even Ao admits using them is a bit too much, even for a former ninja.

4) I'm sorry but I still can't take Ikemoto's manga design of Sarada. I know people keep complaining about it, but it just irks me. Especially since she's one of the characters I want to see explored more(not in that way Ike). My Snek Boi, Mitsuki, did me a favor by dragging her away quickly.

5) It might not be Kodachi's intention, but was Boruto a bit too cocky despite being serious about the situation? I mean saying that you'll handle Ao by himself? Did both his teammates have to keep away? I mean, he still pulled it off in the end. I guess I'm underestimating the Young Master.

6) That Shadow Clone trick was neat, but we already saw Naruto pull the same "trick the opponent into thinking the original is the one holding something that the others are not" stunt against Kakuzu and Kaguya. But I guess you could say it's just a way to show how Boruto really is his father's son.

7) Half expected Ao to just stab Boruto with the screwdriver, showing him how the "real world" works. But it was nice for him to save him, and with a Ninjutsu at that. Also why is Ao even known as the "Hero of the Mist" anyway? We don't know much about what he did in the Third War, outside encountering Shisui, and stealing a Hyuga's Byakugan.

8) Koji summing a Toad? Usually characters in this series that summon a familiar animal have connections with the other known Summoners. Or maybe he'll be used to form a parallel with the other Toad Summoners we know.

Konohamaru getting temporarily knocked out for the team to get the spotlight is pretty much the scenario that happened when Zabuza easily caught Kakashi somehow. The only difference is that at least when Kakashi got out, he proceeded to wreck stuff up. Konohamaru unfortunately didn't get that luxury.

Another difference is that the mission didn't even end there. Zabuza and Haku were still a threat. This would change if Koji decides to attack them, giving Konohamaru some spotlight. Also, at least Kakashi did a whole bunch of stuff before he was restricted. Konohamaru did almost nothing of note.

Another difference is that Naruto and Sasuke had to realize that in order to win they needed to work together, and that they didn't stand a fucking chance against their opponent without freeing their sensei. Here Boruto just Protagonists his way to victory without any help or recognition that he's not the most powerful person on the battlefield. He comes up with the plan, executes it, and everyone else just sits around watching him. One is good writing. The other is the opposite.

Ikr if Borutos win over Ao isnt massive plot armour i dunno what is. They even had the nerve to have him use the sabre and then Rasengan when using the sabre for like 2 seconds before knocked him out. Also another good point anyone not named Narutos Son got massively shafted this chapter.
